Hybridizer Anna Cadd and me at the Santa Rosa Iris Society meeting earlier this week


When I first met this very friendly woman I blurted out that I'd just purchased a Cadd iris,
Purple People Eater. She quickly responded with " For hybridizing, use pollen from this one, instead of
making it the seedpod parent". ! Loved her!

I don't think that is Lady Friend. The beard is wrong and it's not that Lady Friend color.

Carl, do you grow LF. I have one that I was told is LF but she does not match any of the photos that others post so I do not trade her.

I agree with Carl about the picture of Lady Friend ID. It is much more modern than Sally's photo......

This is my lady friend, I agree with Carl, I don't think the one above looks like lady friend.

Sorry Sally -- I have to agree with the others. Lady Friend is an unusual red Iris -- almost a color all of it's own. Here is a picture of mine:
