It's very windy here today but I went outside to take a couple of pictures of the Doves. I also spotted a Bald Eagle but it went by so fast I couldn't get the camera ready in time. I'm going to be on the watch in the next few days in hopes to catch a pic or two!

My backyard feeders have been extremely busy today ... maybe because of the cold front that came through. It was 48ºF here this morning and has been windy and chilly all day.
Tufted Titmouse ................................... Northern Cardinal, male ................... Northern Cardinal, female
Pretty much the same birds here. Though my neighbor did report her first sighting of an Indigo Bunting!
Can't see if the right leg on this Ruby-throated hummer is banded, but this guy is a regular at the feeder and all the blooming salvia in the yard near that location.
And I watched with surprise as the Painted Buntings and Cardinals were flying in and out of my large hedge of Lavender Lace Salvia bushes right near the seed feeders. Here are 2 of the 3 I saw earlier this morning.
Male PB is WYSK banded 2/21/2015 and the green PB is RSKW banded on 11/23/2015. Both were banded in my yard

@cliftoncat, I'll surely tell my backyard birds to take a vacation across the pond but you must send them back eventually because I'd sure miss them.
@Beckygardener, Becky it's great to see that you are still getting Hummingbird visitors; I had one a week or so ago but haven't seen anymore since. Oh how wonderful to see pictures of the Painted Buntings! I sure hope I'll be able to attract them to my yard once we move down there in @ 18 weeks. My sister and I have been counting the days, we can't wait to be neighbors!

Thanks everyone! I don't post photos much because I seem to have the same over-wintering birds and as well as my resident birds here. Would love to see what I know is around, but those "other" elusive birds don't come to my feeders, I just glimpse them or hear their song, never get so lucky as to snap a good shot of them.

Margaret, I always love your photos! How cute that the Dove sticks it's feet down in the snow to warm them. Beautiful Flicker and I really like the second shot of those three bright eyed Sparrows!
