The piano will be one of the easiest things to make...I worry more about things like hand rails on stair cases and statues.. But tables chairs the furniture--->No problem

I can see that. You can make anything you want to make, and it will all turn out perfectly with your talent and perseverance.
woofie said:Well, if you read farther down in the description of that "pianist" it actually does sort of "play" music. And apparently the keys move when it's "playing." But still...OUCH! Probably wouldn't live well outdoors, either. But wouldn't it be fun to put in a little water proof speaker and hook up a remote player for your piano?

What a stroke of luck.
I was wondering where you found the small pieces in your compositions.

These amazing projects are great examples of the fun & good things one can do with math, or said another way, a fun and good thing that requires some math, or at least careful measuring, to do. If only we could teach math while standing up, doing worthwhile/necessary/fun things, everyone would get & enjoy it, or at least more of it! Sorry for the nerdy interjection, couldn't resist!

I love your interjection..Your comment reminds me about children of today..Math and fun things to do...Those days long ago when I was a child and had an imagination as tall as the empire state building..Building things and exploring the countryside...I remember beautiful blue summer skies, More lightning bugs than a coffee can could hold....Im so afraid those days are long gone...I think kids of today somehow miss this important time of there life..It makes me feel sorry for them...Im not sure if this goes along with you comment but I just needed to tell you this...
plantmanager said:My childhood was much like yours. I do feel sorry for the kids of today. Most of them have their noses buried in their electronics full time. :(
I would never have believed that you'd find 1/6th scale chandeliers at Autozone! I guess you never know what you'll find, so you just have to keep your eyes open! That saves you extra work, and they look wonderful!

Shape, I had a childhood like yours. I was a wanderer and a dreamer. It has served me well.
My mother said I "marched to a different drummer " I have a great creative life that is mostly gardening these days, but between 1970 and 1996 I made clay sculpture and functional pottery,I gave up the heavy stuff to paint and still do.

plantmanager said:I couldn't get your blog to come up with that link. I think this one might work.

I haven't had time to go through it, but I will.
Shape that is just odd that you're finding chandeliers in all of these unlikely places!
