Kayleigh, your seeds were received today and are the only seeds I have received thus far.

For those of you that may have sent yours and are wondering why it didn't arrive today, take heart...sometimes mail takes an extra day or so, depending on when it arrived to the local post office here.

I wanted to apologize about them. I didn't read real well, and then some post were made *after* I had already put them in the mail, so hopefully all is okay. Packets may not be reusable, staples instead of paper clips, but hopefully that would keep them from separating at all so that all remains organized.

A note for those who don't know: The Post office is closed Monday.

Aww hoosier, we're good on the packets. Mine are origami envelopes taped to insure nothing falls out. As long as seed is in there it will be planted. :)

My PO is only open til 11 am mon-fri. The lady that works there is dumber than dirt. I usually travel to mail something since I can't trust her to get the job done. Sometimes we get our mail twice a day, sometimes not at all. I don't get upset over my mail anymore. It's pointless.

Lol, Jim! I'm not site I followed your last post entirely, but it made me chuckle!

This morning we had a beautiful sunrise here, which is so much better than the cloudy winter skies we have had so much of lately.

Lol, you two. I think Dnd is going to be busy this weekend.... Cheryl, we're all good honey. No ball dropping, just life. Plus, I still get warm weather 2 days a week right now so I'm not in that kind of a hurry to ws. It will all be fine. Smiling

I'm not in any hurry. In fact, you reminded me to ask DnD to hold my box if possible, so it doesn't arrive until after Jan 24, if possible. I have to be out of town for a week.

Rick, I tree-mailed you. Thumbs up

Karen - I think I am, too, although I'm guessing 10 boxes shouldn't be TOO bad. We'll see, though, because we managed to get a lot of exchanging going on!

More later...

The last of the seeds should be coming in tomorrow's mail! That means that we are on track with everything and seeds should be arriving by the end of next week at the latest. Thumbs up

I have enough seeds but can't fight the urge to start my own swap. I was thinking of doing a swap where it's everything but smaller amounts of seed so you can try everything and find new favorites. Is that something that would be popular? And @DogNDaylilies how hard is it to host? Whistling

@Littlecheryl I like your idea! I try not to buy large amounts of seeds because I have very limited space. But every year I try and grow something different to see how I like it. I'd love a swap where people aren't expecting 50-100 seeds and where people don't send me that many! However, after 3 swaps this winter I am swapped out! But if you were to do it next Fall or Winter then I'd join.

Like bxncbx, it's kind of coming to an end until Fall. However... I'm wondering if maybe it wouldn't be better to do a forum post here for a round robin type thing. Maybe folks would be interested in that. I know right now I just don't have enough to trade anymore. Everything I had went to the swaps.

@bxncbx @KarenHolt Thank You!

Maybe I will plan to do October....Is that a good month to try it or February of next year? I will definitely try doing it then when it's better for others. September I will be out of town so I won't be able to have it start then. I would love to get new varieties and just a few of them to try. I love the swap format and not sure how to do a round robin.

I think anytime between Oct to Jan would be great. Everyone is generally done harvesting and ready for trade.
