Aw, thanks, Jim! I wish I could nab them, but I don't have any tickets left. It took me awhile to determine what I wanted to spend them on tonight, too...I wish I'd left a few, but I was pretty sure that after tonight I would only nab one or two here or there, so I used up all my tickets tonight to try and make sure I got everything I wanted. I'm not certain if I'll get a chance to do any more dibs the next few days because I'm going to be pretty busy with some stuff and I may not be able to get online. Shrug!

Group hug It was the thought that counted. I will keep my fingers crossed that I can log on tomorrow at 7pmEST and get them. If you're dying to have them, though, go ahead and nab them first. I'll survive, I promise. Big Grin

My garden seeds are like crosses ,, There is no guarantee they will be anything like their parent , traits yes , look a likes maybe .. With flowers , and even the taste of some vegetables ,,
The possible of that great (That you don't know your looking for) is there .

You get bloom variation from garden seeds ,
You get taste variation , like the cinnamon Basil , every one can taste slightly different , and there from the same place and have a large or small seed , with variation , Every once in a while I have had a few that really taste like cinnamon ,
I had a delighful cucumber this past season that was green and white striped , it was thin , no peel skin , tender , and juicy ,, delightful and interesting ,
When I don't overdo the whole idea ,, gardening is delightful for me about that , I don't really have the personal energy required to be a ""real Gardener " but it is a wonder of wonderful possibilities , Thumbs up Drooling

I'm pretty sure that when we "give back" and item, we don't get our "ticket" refunded.

Maybe that was done to discourage people from dibbsing, putting back, dibbsing, and putting back again.

I just found some seeds I had meant to offer but don't have growing advice for. If anyone is interested I list them. If not they can wait till next years swap. Smiling

Calendula officinalis-both plants had yellow flowers but one had significantly larger flowers. Seeds are from both plants.

Cucumber, Muncher organic

Guem, Mai Tai- should come true since it is the only Geum in the neighborhood.

Rhodanthe chlorocephala, Best mix-everlasting flowers.

Lens culinaris (lentils)

Lobelia, Fountain mix. Also have just blue and just white.

Forget-me-not, Victoria Pink-Flowers start blue & turn pink. Prolific self-seeder.

Phlox drummondii, Pomegranate

Phlox drummondii , Promise mix

Zinnia elegans, Carousel (same as whirlybird).

Sorry that came as a surprise. I wonder if I forgot to put that in the tips and tricks, it might just be in one of the threads.

I have extra tickets, I can dibs a couple of items for you to replace the ones you so graciously forfeited to allow me to have the daylilies. Thumbs up What would you like?

I would like the pink forget me not to go with the purple ones, the zinnias and the geums. They all work with my color schemes. If someone else wants them I am more than happy to let them have them though. You have all been so generous to me already.

You're very welcome, Jim. If anything changes, let me know and you have two on me. I think I've nabbed everything I'm going to, with the possible exception of maybe another tomato seed or something.

Okay, I'll try and get them listed tomorrow. I have a feeling I'll be working late so it may be late tomorrow night.

And I have multiple packs of most everything so other people wanting it won't be a problem.

I was planting today , a few oriental poppies and some common garden mustard ,, I look through bags , baggies , and boxes of seeds , While I do this , Thing is I am hardly even to 60 with winter sow , that I am lousy at it by the way , except for greens and natives I do not do to well at it .
As to trades and baggies ,, I will put leftover in the seeds to fill the baggie so there may be a lot of Vary as to number of seeds , I have said that before , But it is looking like a lot of these are not going to go ,
Only so many anyone can grow ....including me .
If the rain is not too severe tomorrow I will plant the Delphiniums and let the rest of the seeds go , I had three that looked great , the ground hog ate two the cats and dogs pooped on the other , Always the unforeseen ,
Still a ticket after tonight , when a couple come up I will get them ,
I will also look back through my gone to zero listed and see what I have ,,I might be able to re-list a few ?

We have had such a crazy-amazing list of seeds to choose from in this swap, I think it's wonderful! At this point, most of you can probably see why the swap was only about a week long...but some of you are giving it blips of rejuvenation with the late seed adds Hilarious! I think it's amazing with all of the variety we already have in this swap, there are still additions coming in. The late additions are spurring some additional 'purchases', despite the natural slow-down that occurs at this point in the swap. Im happy to see that everyone who is dubbing in this swap (we have two members who are generously donating seeds without dibbing) appears to be getting a lot of great stuff that they want.

I suspect that nearly all of us came into this swap with a few ideas in mind of things we hoped to get and have ended up with a bunch of things we didn't go into the swap expecting or anticipating getting, so...

Here is a question just for fun...

What are your THREE (3) top unexpected seed packets?

(You can interpret 'three top unexpected' to mean either your top three favorites or what you were most surprised to see offered.)
