Is this what I think it is? I guess it could be a new leaf but I am hoping for more. Crossing Fingers!

This one is killin me! Huge buds on an anonymous plant that I'm pretty sure is one of my bare root bargains from Rafael. No idea where the tag went - those rascally raccoons must have stolen it. I sure hope it opens tomorrow. The one bud showing color has been in suspended animation for a couple of days.

Well, I went back to last spring's pictures files, and found what might be this one, we'll see when it opens - C. gaskelliana var. coerulea2.

Making a tag as soon as it pops.

Love them all!
That would be Myrmecophila (or Schomburgkia) tibicinis?
B. nodosa is a species, lower case. Smiling My IPad capitalizes it too, darn the autocorrect!

Ursula, I think what Lindsey really meant is Myrmecophila Tibiana (Myrmecophila tibicinis x Myrmecophila thomsoniana). So the Tibiana needed to be capitalized to show it is not a sepcies. I will forgive her the Schomburgkia. Whistling

But then, there is no "e" in Honky.
It is Rby. Sherrie Styles 'Sunshine ' Check spelling and caps
It is Rlc. Yen Surprise
and small n's in all the nodosas.

Guilty as charged... *Blush*
I was rushing to beat the 9 neighbors that were about to descend on my patio for frozen margaritas.
Paul Storm (Mr Schomburkia) advised me that the Tibiana is probably mis labeled.. I guess one has an open lip and the other ( tibicinis doesn't).. Or vice versa... I have transcribed all this info and will make tags tomorrow (since I definitely should not be doing this after cocktail hour Rolling on the floor laughing )..
Thanks Jim for keeping me in line! I tip my hat to you.
