I guess that is the good part because you are enjoying cucumbers now when ours have reached the end.

Not surprised at the tomatoes. Mine are going strong also. But a big deal on the cucumbers going this late.

I picked what is probably the last of the cucumbers today. Then I picked a lot of eggplant and a goodly amount of zucchini also. Picked two melons and some peppers, some of which had turned red. And of course tomatoes.
There are not many beans left but I probably could or should have picked what there is but I didn't.

I picked a small bag of peas. I see that I really need more pea plants to get the harvest that I would like. I did plan to have peas in the pots again as I have been growing them but the birds pecked those to death when they were smaller so nothing in the pots this fall. In the spring I will plant more in grown peas than I have now. And I moved the pots and the birds should leave them alone in the new location.

So really a great year for veggies here.

Well, that is officially it for the cucumber vines for this season. I had different sections of vines and have been pulling them as they got too bad. Today got out the last of them so no more cucumbers till next season.

Still I can't complain as I was swimming in cucumbers this year as I had so many to pick. All my friends got cucumbers all summer long.

Oh yes, I spend lots of time thinking about what I will plant next year and were I will put it. Like I don't have plenty of time to decide!! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

But I tried so many new to me varieties of tomatoes this season. I didn't grow any of the hybrids that are tried and true yearly favorites in my garden forever. Next season some of those hybrids are coming back and then the best of the new to me varieties from this season. The ones I liked the best!!
