Speaking of English gardens, there is a great BBC series called "Gardener's World". I've been watching back episodes on You Tube. I started with Season 2016 Episode 1 and am up to Episode 4. Highly recommend it!

Donner, I'm going to try to grow that purple bell vine this year too. I tried a few years ago, but didn't take care of the little sprouts and they died off. Should have much more time for success this season Green Grin!

Speaking of BBC, read that Irish police may be called upon to combat threatening...rhododendrons.

I can use an invasion of rhododendrons in my garden. nodding nodding nodding

BBC's "Gardener's World" is a wonderful program!!! There you see real gardeners talking about plants. As Terri said, they are available on Youtube. If you search carefully, you can find the hi-def version of those programs. Beautiful to watch.

When I first started gardening, gardening programs on HGTV were also all about gardens and plants. I learned a lot by watching those programs. Then one by one they all disappeared and were replaced by makeover type of programs Thumbs down Thumbs down Thumbs down . It has been about 15 years since I stopped watching garden programs on HGTV. In my garden, lots of birds like finches, woodpeckers, cardinals,... I am so happy to see them in the garden. I put mixed seeds in FORUP Caged Tube feeder to attract as many birds fond of eating seeds as possible.
