No abbreviation, Mount Hood. Looked at my records and I received this from Twitcher in that wonderful postage for semps a few years back.

I wonder if they somehow got mixed up?
I sure miss our Twitcher.

Could be Lynn. Maybe Twicher will check in one day and will check the Mount Hood . I also got Ford's Spring with that lot, might be that? I will noid it because it is not Mount Hood and will not guess.

Enjoy your beautiful weather out West! We got about 8" of heavy wet snow so far today, then it's going to turn to rain, then another 3-4" of snow.

Yea our sun came out a little while ago. After about 12-14 inches of snow, it finally quit. Now it is going to be bitter cold for another 24 hours and then the slow warm up to the 40s begins.

No snow this year at my house! Hate snow unless it is in the mountains for skiing.
Been out eyeing an old daylily bed to convert to a semp bed. I just bought Don's daylily divider to help with the work. Some of these are small blooming daylilies, I'm not a fan.
Will make good plants for my garden club sale.

Julia, it does look more like 'Ford's Spring'. Do you still have that one in your collection? So you can compare?

You could be right, Lynn. I sat on my back porch today sipping a coffee and staring at the rain and glanced down towards my lowly Silberspitz. Something caught my eye. Upon closer inspection it seems the green-to-red transformation has indeed begun. Looking around I can see small changes all over. Can Spring be far away?

I see color.
Today does not feel like spring is on the way, but watch out for next week.

Finally finished the semp bed that Julia helped me start in September Only 5 more to go It would be easier if I could find good dirt up here instead of importing it from Oregon!

Nice job, Patty. Growing up in the Puget Sound area I found no shortage of rocks. I once tried to remove them all from my garden and ended up with a miniature sinkhole I had to fill in!
