Beautiful Mike!! Very yellow too.

I prefer my yellows with a kiss of pink, what I like to call Reckamp glow.
I fell in love back in 1996 when I first saw Techny Peace in bloom.
I would of never dreamed back then that I would be spending several thousand dollars, or digging up the majority of my yard, or becoming a hybridizer, back then.
Everything changed when I decided to see how hard it could be to make my own seedlings, I made a few crosses with some of the plants I bought from Klehm's, I waited 3 years for them to bloom.

I'll add Double Daffy because it never fails me.

Here are five of my favorite yellows.
'America's Most Wanted': This just reminds me that I need more sculpted daylilies. I seem to really like that look.

'Blonde Is Beautiful': This daylily performed very well this past season .

'Buttered Popcorn': The color just stands out for some reason more so than most, even with a good rust resistance rating, rust has been a big problem so far with this plant, hoping after this cold winter it will not continue to be a problem. It will have to come off my favorites list if the rust continues, it does provide lots of blooms.

'Erin Lea': I would love to see a little more of a frilly edge on the blooms next year.

'Irish Envy': This has to be my current all time favorite yellow, what a performer it has been in my garden. Multiplies rapidly and makes a beautiful clump.

Like me, most people could probably add a few more favorite yellows to the list. Really enjoying seeing everybody's beautiful yellows--Seedfork, Irish Envy looks great.

My very favorite yellow is 'Yellow Ducky'. Bright yellow with tentacles. Good increase and nice branching.


Not sure if Fooled Me qualifies as yellow, even though it is listed as a golden yellow, but it is a favorite of mine.


Russian Easter is a beauty with its pastel colors


Hot Pepper actually rebloomed for me last year. and is a cutie.


Renegade Rover is a perky little thing.

Oh, how I love the yellows, and you-all have some real beauties! Absolutely gorgeous! I really can't believe this thread runs from 2011, and here we are in 2018 -- and of course at least one of my favorites has changed from my last report in 2013. I still love the first four as I listed them in 2013, but the last is one of my seedlings that has really impressed me:
