Just came back from a walk around the neighborhood...man you should hear the rushing water in the storm drains!!!
One guy out there with a chain saw but everything looks good....no trees on houses or anything

This is the town just north of me....cutest town with victorian houses and little shops, this bridge had just reopened, now it's flooded...it is the main st we take when coming from the north

We were very lucky here, just power out. I worry about family graveyard in VT but it is not on a river & in western VT.

This is the creek that runs behind my apartment building, it has started to recede last night, boy what a mess Irene left us. Glad everyone is safe

The creek didnt flood the basement, the rain did flood the elevator shaft so we were without that for 24 hours.. we werent complaining compared to the people living along the creek !!!!!

In VT there is some delivery by heliocopter as bridges are out.

There is another one near Africa. I think I will leave our galleon jug of water around for awhile.

I left some of our containers full as well.. never know what might break down after being stressed

We still have a long way to go before hurricane season is over. My heart goes out to the people in Vt.

Aome people in SE MA aren't supposed to get power until the weekend. Right next to Gillette stadium which has power.
