I like the rocks! I wonder how many of them will disappear with time? I've had shells and rocks walk out of our property.

So far, everything is where I left it. I re-do it about once every 3 years and always find forgotten jewels buried between the larger rocks. We'll see how the next three years pan out. (You have to drive 40 acres to get to my front door, I usually try to give away shells and rocks. By the time you leave, your pockets are too full to add any "extra" that crosses your sight.) ;)

Ever since I saw my first bottle tree I've loved them and I finally have one. It's a cedar that was cut down in an power line right-of-way. I trimmed it back a bit, then "planted" it 2' deep. When I hang a bottle, I also add a string of beads, crystals, or something else. My house is in a clearing in the woods so it doesn't shine all the time, but when there's a breeze and the sun is just right, we can't stop looking at the crystals flash. It doesn't photograph well, but it's wonderful!

Pretty! Things like that are so hard to photograph like we see them.
I have a blue bottle tree that still needs about 5 blue bottles. They seem to be less common than they used to be. I look in liquor stores, and it's hard finding a plain blue bottle. Some of them have embossed flowers or other designs on them I want plain ones! Let me know if any of you buy liquor in blue bottles!

@pdermer1x I love your bottle tree. I have been wanting one again. I used to have one that was an old 4x4 post that DH drilled holes in, and I painted some wood dowels and inserted them in the holes and added small vases instead of bottles. It was really nice until the cattle got out of the pasture on day and strolled through that flower bed and drove a bunch of them off. Thus it is no longer there. I need to get another one started. Yours is a great idea. Thanks for posting it.

Here is my vase tree back in 2012. This was my Christmas display for that year.

Thanks Vic. They sure look bare at this time of year except today they have snow in them. I need to add new mulch which always makes them look refreshed.

So so glad warming up . Hope to take some photos tomorrow of neighbors art show ..some really large pieces..commercial use..or really big garden space needed.

Pause I got some things FB Marketplace for the garden .. anyway I think the garden art groups should be heating up pretty soon
