Here is a recent piece of my "garden art". I made a polymer clay flower garden because I got sick of waiting for spring!

Honestly, that would gind a home in a rock garden -- could it take the outdoors? If guests spy it and marvel and ohhh and ahhhh in envy -- at your horticultural skills... So be it. Just don't let 'em touch...gently do the steer...

LOL! It could go outside, but it's rather delicate. I just put it on my plant stand in the house. Maybe I could put it outside just if I know guests are coming....

That's the ticket...just to get some air...not to put "on" some ...but to get some....

Waiting for spring...and seeing the damage already from the moles and voles and the deer... is disheartening.... but this little painting is a good cheery example of art ABOUT the garden..and

So...

No, a street vendor. The best kind of purchase. I wish mine did too... I have brick and a picnic bench...with a blue tarp...because the DH thinks EVERYTHING should be covered for the winter...well...the mice appreciate it..when I lift that cover guaranteed mice life!

Love the painting - we get bats under our tarps.

Bats...I see those flying at night...
But I don't think we've had tarp nesting.
Snakes -- yes.....where ther are mice and all that...

This is one of my favorite things that brings the garden into art ..
My son got this for me for Christmas.it came from the Savanna Honey shop I Believe. It is a hot wax painting (encaustic ) that uses wax and pigments to make the design. In this case, bees doing what bees do and sunny daises. It is very small...6 x 6 perhaps. Photos cannot capture the depth that the wax imparts.

Maybe you have seen but did not recognize. That was the case for me until it was described. Years ago there was this painted landscape...yet not.....at a distance it was perfect but up close I could see a great depth of...something ..laid over the canvas and also see that the shapes that formed the landscape were not like a brush would make. That is when I learned about the wax

I know for sure if I ever start mosaics I will never come up for air. I love them so much! Especially love the chair!
