Wow, free bulbs! I wouldn't care what shape they were in as long as they still looked alive. Can't pass up a bargain like that.

Dizzy: I had a bad spell of this sort of thing once, it is called something like benign paroxsymal positional vertigo (that might not be right, but close!). From what I learned, it can be treated in two ways: 1. do nothing and eventually it will go away. 2. Let a doctor shake your head like a castanet to get the little bits of minerals floating in your inner ear to settle down. I decided on 1. But what really "cured" the condition was my husband and I decided our big apple tree needed pruning...I was too dizzy to climb the tree, so he went up and I stayed on the ground directing him. I spent a whole day with my head tipped way back, looking up. Next morning: Dizzy gone. Never came back. So I wish you luck with this and try not to worry too much about it.

Thanks Annie. I have a history of dizzy spells. I have had to lay in bed with my eyes closed and have one foot on the floor to stop the room from spinning. I have been through the head tilting, the spinning tests and physical therapy balance tests which gave me no definitive results. This is different. I believe it is coming from my neck. The only time it is debilitating, is when I get up from bed or lay down. I feel like I am spinning / falling through a black hole. I can bend, turn, push and pull with just a little lightheaded feeling. I told Dr Klein that I believe it is what a hangover may feel like.
This afternoon I was able to get out after work. I love being outside.

Neck and back misalignment can do weird things. This summer, I had a sharp stabbing pain in my lower lip...felt like a needle being stuck in it. Doctor, dentist, nothing. Then, got out of a hot shower, went to dry my hair, heard a POP like a knuckle crack in my neck...pain gone. Are you getting regular chiropractic adjustments? Also try therapeutic massage...that can work wonders if you tend to tense your neck/back muscles. Also try gentle yoga...gets you in touch with how your spine is aligned. I'm glad you can get out in the garden, that's the best medicine!

Annie, how was your day. Mine was filled with being outside most of the day. What a treat! I will see how I feel tomorrow after my workout today.
I am going to go to the chiropractor on Wednesday again. He said that he is going to call on Monday to see how I am doing. He is just wonderful. Dr Klein does massage with sombra ointment, also I have laser treatment. I really should try yoga, I just never have.

Hi Marie, I have had 2 blah days. Yesterday, Monday, I had to have an echocardiogram done and a 24-hour holter monitor put on. I have been having palpitations and my doctor wanted more information. The echo wasn't too bad, but whoa boy...they misplaced my paperwork and instead of me going directly for the holter, I ended up waiting over an hour. The holter monitor isn't too bad, but annoying and the little sticky patches that hold the wires itched like crazy for a while. You can't take a shower, bath, etc. while it's on, so I was counting down the minutes to get it off! *LOL* That also meant I couldnt go out and get anything done in the garden because I did not want to get all sweaty...So...stuck in the office most of the day!

I've tried yoga here at home (too shy to go to a class!) and I really enjoyed it. There are some good beginner videos on YouTube. I only do the basic stuff but it really makes me so aware of my posture and how I am moving...which is good because I tend to be a "sloppy mover."

Hope you continue to feel better! Annie

Hi Annie, I hope all turns out well with you. It is terrible to have beautiful springtime weather and not be able to be out in it.
In some ways I am a bit better, in other ways worse. Hopefully the chiropractor will help me tomorrow. I am about ready to ask for an MRI. if things don't get better, I will do just that.
I have been able to spend some time out in the yard today. I pruned the fruit trees and grape vines. It took me a little longer than it should have. I am not sure why I try because the squirrels, birds and raccoon's get most of the fruit.
