Lisa, I'm not sure what this one is. I think it's the same thing that my neighbor has growing uncontrolled in her yard. I'll try to remember to bring my hosta book.

Holly, if you have a piece of that 'Butter & Sugar' sib iris left, I'd be happy to give it a home!

I need to check to see if any of my siberian or LA irises can be divided... pretty sure 'Black Gamecock' was growing wildly last summer... That may end up being another "dig on the spot" effort, since I'm really scrambling this week LOL.

Speaking of digging... @ssgardener and @5601Lisa, I think you were the only ones wanting dibs on some daffodils... would you prefer to come up another time to dig them? The foliage generally persists into June, at least well enough to mark the big clumps. The first or second weekend in June would work for me. Thought I'd toss that out there. We could also dig anything else you had your eye on, saving time/effort during the swap.

Holly, those Irises are beautiful! If you have a bit left, I'd love some, but I can tell how fast they've been going and understand if they are already taken...

I will bring the mouse ears hosta, and I also will dig up some lemon balms, and the big hostas. I have dark maroon Hellebores. I do not know if I will be able to divide it, it is very big. I also have white ones. If there is still some available, I would like the speckled pink one. I do not have it yet.

I also can bring cuttings of Queen of the night. They have never bloomed for me, so I do not know how they look. But I can bring leaf cuttings, you can just put the leaves in a pot with damp soil and it will grow. Anyone interested? They bloom at midnight and are very fragrant.

I saw someone offering night blooming jasmine, I would like one if still available. I had bought them several times, and I had problems keeping them alive through Winter. They are Cestrum nocturnum, right?

food.
I will bring fried rice noodles (no meat), cooked Indonesian way.
and also a drink made with all kinds of fruits, called ensalata fruita, from Salvador, I have never been there but it is my favorite drink. Is there enough ice? If not, I can ask John to bring ice.

@tantefrancine - I have the Night Blooming Jasmine. If I do not have a rooted plant I will bring you a couple of cuttings which is easily rooted esp with the weather turning warm.
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Ice would be welcome! Otherwise I can send Jim out for some. I have 1 big cooler and 1 mid-size, so another big cooler might help also. My ice maker definitely won't keep up, LOL.

Francine, I appreciate your offering to dig lemon balm, but I've got 10 clumps potted already and more available here... it went nuts over the past couple of years... save your energy for digging the hostas! Also, I don't know about dividing established hellebores... they take awhile to settle in, so I'm not sure about messing with their roots, although I don't have much experience with them yet. Check under and around them, though, to see if there are seedlings!

Joyanna's "Aunt Amy" (who put me in touch with her birth mother) just moved into a new place too and was asking me about extra hostas (I have some 'Patriot' I can share with her, maybe a few others that can be split). Sounds like there's no such thing as "too many hostas" this time... we'll see what's left at the end and divide them up... Holly's son, Chantell's friend, Amy... who am I missing?

Lisa, I'd like to try a piece of your bright green hosta... I'll see if it's on your list for "dibs." Rick, if your neighbor is willing to have some of her hostas "controlled," sounds like that would be a good vigorous one to share around if you have space for a bag of divisions?

Cool, CAM, thanks!

Lisa, I just put dibs on one of those green hosta divisions using the tool, but if they've already been claimed that's fine!

Holly, if you're running low on butter & sugar iris, put me last on the list.

The neighbor has entered a "don't bother me" phase of life. Her sons, both in their mid 20s, are still living at home with no signs of leaving. Between her husband and sons, the amount of work they do in the yard is around zero. I think I've seen some of hers coming up in our wooded area. I'll check.

Last fall, I purchased some mesh 'onion' bags. They are 11" x 19" in size and made from a dark purple polypropylene. I got them to overwinter my caladium and gloriosa. If anyone would like some, they're 50 cents each. Let me know via tree-mail if you would like me to bring some to the swap.

Yes Hurray! ...any extra hostas - even the whoppers are appreciated as my son has a rather large shaded/part shaded front yard...ready to work with.

So, is anybody interested in doing the glass plate flowers at the swap party? If so, I'll grab a couple more tubes of E-6000 adhesive.

We could also possibly do tie dye, but I should test to see which dyes I need to make up fresh, and I'm not sure I'll get to that this week. I do have lots of white $3 t-shirts.

??

I'm thinking we should do some "project days" this summer... fairy houses, hypertufa, papercrete, concrete leaves, tie dye... That might be a fun thing to just do any Sunday afternoon that we're home, see who can make it, order pizza. Easy. I'll be doing stuff with the kids on the street and some of Joyanna's other friends and her cousins, too, but that will probably be during the week. This is probably a topic for another thread where we can post ideas and when/if we're willing to host.

@227mama, I have 9 vincas that didn't get planted at my mom's (9 did go in, you're not depriving her LOL)... yours for $4 if you want them. They're from my recent PA nursery trip. I think there's a pink, a white-eyed pink, and a red-pink color, although they are not yet in bloom.
