We lucked out here, just rain. An hour north of us is getting freezing rain and snow.
Supposed to be mid 60's today!!!!

60 outside today when we got up. I am stuck in the house monitoring the phone. DH is doing some power washing of the patio and driveway so can't hear the cell phone ring, therefore I am inside waiting.........

It is snowing here now. It started a few hours ago, and we have about an inch so far. It is supposed to change to ice pellets and freezing rain later in the day. The weather is supposed to turn nicer on the weekend, so we should see this start to melt then. With any luck, I might be out in the garden in early April to at least see how things did over the winter.

Here in north Italy today is 60F (15 C) and sunny, but we're expecting lower temps and rains. At night there's still a bit cold, 32F (0C).

Colder than yesterday but still not a cold day.

Getting snow pellets right now in Wisconsin. Tonight could be the last hard freeze of the spring getting down to ~21F. Hoping the bulbs I already planted will have enough leaf mulch on top of them to keep them warm - thinking I might have jumped the gun hoping winter was over.

They are calling for a high of 82F. That's hotter than it needs to be in March.

I think many of us are so ready for spring. Myself included. Spring bulbs blooming here and I love that.

Oh I don't like wind either Margaret. Started out with snow this morning then it was just chilly, windy and cloudy most of the day. Tonight we have a freezing rain advisory, would rather have another dusting of snow. The weatherguessers are saying sunny and near 60 for the weekend and even warmer next week.

We had a little snow overnight followed by misty freezing rain most of the day. It's beautiful here, but the snowdrops don't look as happy as a few days ago.

I'm just excited that my other bulbs will be pushing up buds and blooming soon enough too!

" Glub glub," feels like we are going down for the third time !

We have had major rain and roadside ditches are full , swimming pools developed on various spots on our lawn. Daylilies and other plants poking their heads up through the water and maybe drowning ...... that's what it looks like and how I feel .

We get this type of thing every year and every year I panic thinking I am going to lose everything and even when it sticks around for days the plants always seem to make it through .

So fingers crossed that the ground will absorb all this wet this time and of course this will mean major growth in a short time and I will be trying to clean out gardens with my hands as the plants have grown too much too fast to use a rake to remove winter debris. .....hmmmmm and I thought I was ahead of the game . I almost wish it had come to us as snow which if you knew me you would know that is a most ridiculous statement for me to make .

We have had so much rain here that the city sewers couldn't handle it. Our basement drain started to back up so hubby went and bought a sump pump so that the whole basement didn't flood.

It is already 62 this morning. Had a frog in the kitchen this morning, drove the cat crazy. Luckily we caught it and put it back outside before Niki could catch it. We are supposed to get rain sometime in the next few days. Happy Easter.

High 50s today and cloudy...more worried about Sunday. One day its says clouds..next day its rain...Think my broken watch is right more than the Weather Forecast lol

The storm has finally passed. It is just cloudy now and hovering around the freezing point. Yesterday we got about 4 inches of snow, topped off with ice pellets, then a crust of freezing rain. What a mess. Our dogs were slithering around on the ice this morning. It is supposed to get into the 50's f. on Saturday, so that should help to start melting all this. It is also supposed to be fairly mild all week, so I hope we will start to see the gardens emerge soon!

Woke up to fog and light snow, 26F, supposed to clear up though, I sure hope it does as my son and his girlfriend will be driving on mountain roads today to get here for Easter.

Meanwhile on Planet Kelli, they are calling for a high of 80F.
