Fairy Berry. I am not crazy about the very open standards, but the color is just lovely. Even better in person.

Irish Harp opened a bloom today. I didn't even know it was ready! I really like the veining on the brown background. It is even prettier than I expected.

I especially like it from the top view.

Pokemon also opened (thanks Tom!). This one is really photogenic.

And Pokémon is an MDB I think. It is doing well for you. So many people will not try the MDB's because they think they cannot grow them. It is just finding the right one and then the right place for it. It is lovely, Leslie.

Most of my irises are tall bearded except cats eyes and ninja turtles. With seeing everyone's pictures here I am getting into dwarfs (sdb I guess they are also called) I like intermediary (hope that's correct). Can anyone suggest a good source for the dwarfs. Thanks.

Richard - Winterberry has a treasure trove of dwarf iris! So does Mid-America, but they are slightly more expensive. I can tell you though that you currently own two of the fastest growing dwarfs in my garden!

Liz - I love Teagan too. This is it's first year blooming. I love green iris, and the blue is really lovely with the green hafts.

Thanks Bonnie. Your Pokemon is quite a stunner too. Mine seems big for an MDB, but then I have SDB's that never get as big as they should, so why knock a miniature if it wants to grow taller!

Richard - I know, but it is true. If you saw my clumps of those two you would never know any were divided last year! In a year you may have a whole bunch to trade. And Tom's dwarfs are worth their weight in gold. All of them that I have grow like crazy. Both Yummy Accent and Pokemon (that I posted pics from above) are from him.

The Iris Whisperer has a lot of MDBs & SDBs and other medians. Then there is Chuck Chapman, Mid-America, Winterberry, Aitken's Salmon Creek (listed under S in our vendor list) and Blue J has a collection, These are just the ones I am using this year.

I only have one dwarf but it will be awhile before bloom here. We had snow flurries yesterday. I can say that it sure has increased though. Probably will get a lot of blooms from it this year.

Cindy, it is good to see folks growing the MTB's. That is a beautiful one too.

Thanks Bonnie. I sure would love to grow more of them but my space is very limited with the 300 plus daylilies I have.
