We no longer grow Ruby Eruption. It grew well enough to put it in our club sale several years ago. We don't put poor growers in the sale for the general public. We need spaces in the garden in order to judge them for AIS. Only one vote per iris here now as John has given up his judgeship.

I thought I had given Ruby Eruption away, but found this year that it had crept to another area nearby. It hadn't impressed me that much, which was why I gave them away, but this year that little surprise patch has 2 blooming stalks and about 6 more on the way. I guess it didn't want to get chucked Hilarious!

Welcome! Lisa, I don't know if you have posted on the Iris forum before (my memory is not so good anymore) but I love your SDB's you posted.

I may have posted once in awhile over the last year or two but I mainly lurk here. *Blush*
Love the tall beardies but don't have room for them as I grow (hoard) daylilies so the dwarf iris are for me.

Okay, I am way behind!

First up is Grass Girl. This one is really much greener than my picture. The bloom is hiding so far down in the foliage though that it is hard to capture it.

A couple more pics of iris that are still blooming.

This little guy intrigues me. Irish Harp:

And I just love the blue of Teagan. And am very happy with how long the blooms stay open.

Last for now is Guise by Blyth. I love this little one. It has a slightly more lavender cast to it's falls that I have never been able to pick up with my camera.

So here are two in soft focus and one that is in very sharp focus.
