Just home from the Dr who says I have osteo-arthritis in both knees, torn meniscus in both, fluid on both knees, and a sprain on the inside of my left knee. He's referring me to a specialist, and he hopes that I can get the arthritis "scraped" off the knees and it will make me more comfortable. He's sending the MRI report on to the specialist, hoping that this will speed up my seeing the specialist - yeah, me too.....

Well my little hussie once again satisfied her lust for tow trucks yesterday This time a leak in the transmission line...dripping on the hot exhaust. Since I live so far from the shop, I was afraid to drive her as I've been told transmission fluid can catch fire when it drips onto something hot Besides the dogs need to die before me so I won't have to worry about them Flippant I know, but just the way I look at things sometimes. Nothing is ever easy with Poppy...parts in this morning, but the wrong ones I love my jeep, however, I wish I could see my way to a newer vehicle...she is 20 now. Poppy will be done today...too late to go get her since neither my ride (kaykay) and I do well driving after dark. Better safe then sorry, so one more night in the shop. Silver lining....my son can't ask to borrow her right now

Ginger. Good idea not to drive her with dripping tranny fluid. You could lose steering altogether!

We are working on car issues this weekend ourselves...coil pads//and wires, something else with a cylinder. It never ends.
Im not so grumpy about something as perplexed. On cubits, on DG, and ATP, I cannot get the ASPCA ads to stop coming up. That stuff tears me up on the TV, and Im finding it very hard to concentrate on anything pleasant when I cant get those poor tortured and sick animals off my screen. I have 5 rescue dogs, they cost alot of money, I just dont know what else the spca wants from me. Im broke animal wise, but my heart still breaks for these animals. ughhh

I just sent an email, after pressing send, my whole screen was a dog and the ad. Im just going nuts with this, its in every pore of my computer.

I think you can disable ads, @dave?

We do not have ads like that on ATP. Our ads are small and non-obtrusive.

You clearly have a virus or some kind of malware on your computer that's causing this. Run one of those reputable "clean your PC" type things and you should be fine.

Usually the ads are just things I dont mind, websites...mostly fabric that I had recently visited. I dont know what I clicked on that got all this poor dog stuff going. Sure would not hurt to run something to clean the PC.

Often you can reboot and that will clear these ads from your computer.

Or you could try deleting your internet browsing history and cookies...

and, although I haven't done it, isn't there a way to tell Google not to remember the things you click on, so you just get random ads instead of targeted ones?
