And JUST got some more good news!! Lowes (who's supplying the lumber) and Care Connect (Christian organization who paid a portion of the lumber $$ - we pay them back when we get our funds from the City) got together finally, and all the lumber's paid for, and Lowe's is only going to charge us $20 for a van, and the gas required (no credit card required or deposit on the van) and we're picking up the lumber tomorrow afternoon, so we can get on with the business of building our addition!!! Woooooo Hoooooooo! I am SO happy and SO excited!!

That all is truly wonderful and really much to be extra thankful for.

I am thankful for the good health of my little dog Lily. Yesterday she had her yearly Vet check. They take bloodwork and I received the results today. Negative on the diseases they check for which are Heartworm, Lyme and two other tick borne diseases.

I give her Revolution which is once of those monthly on the back of the neck treatments. Stops them from getting Heartworms, fleas and most ticks.

Whew... for you and your brother! My BIL has had heart attacks and operations and survived into his 70's somehow. He's going to have one more operation...the external pacemaker wasn't enough, so they're going to have to put in an internal pacemaker. Your heart is very important...take good care of it while you can! I'm happy to see a cool front with some rain coming in shortly! We really need rain...and the heat was really getting to me! If it rains enough, the mosquitos might go away for a while, that would help us!

Thanks all for the support. Regarding your BIL Linda, it sure sounds like he's being looked after. It just goes to show if God doesn't want you home yet, there's nothing man can do to make it happen. The same is also true for the opposite scenario, If God wants you home there's nothing anybody can do to stop it.

I'm thankful Texas is getting a heat break, hopefully you'll also see some rain.

I went through that for several years running with my brother ...I know how stressful and draining it can be. Glad he did well and hopefully on the mend.

Thankful a favourite cousins hubby had a successful QUADRUPLE heart by pass last Saturday and is home today ..

It IS great...still, I'd rather get through the rest of my life without ever going into an OR! And my DD insists I'd have to go to Houston if any operation happens. She'd personally hand-pick the surgeon used.

Thanks so much Rosie. Actually, I'm going to do Jean one better (not at all meaning to one-up but to include Jean, cause she deserves the best wishes too). I hope nobody ever has to spend time in the OR or the waiting rooms for loved ones.

I'm thankful For OR's........... without them, those who depend on them would not be here today. I would not be here, for one..... after 3 heart attacks in March, I know I would not have made it.
