I'm Very thankful this morning - a shed has been moved onto our lot! We paid for it a week ago, and told the guy we wanted it a month ago and he said we could have it anytime. We didn't have any way to get it here.
Everything that was in our home or in alternate storage can now be stored in it, and it's plenty big enough for everything! Hooray!!!!!! No more pathways only, in our home! I'll be glad when stuff is put in it, from our home Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up Whistling Crossing Fingers!
I tip my hat to you. to our landlord for bringing it over Thumbs up

Sally ...

>>>Are you full of elephant yet :o) ROTFL over the bear!

Nope ... I decided I am eating bear since I had to clean up after a dang bear that got into my trash ... Glare

I still have way too much for one person to do and am far too tired to multi-task any more efficiently, so I am just doing the next thing.

The last several weeks have been one crisis after another non-stop. No, I am not going to bother telling about them here because that would be re-living them and once was enough .. Hilarious!

I am thankful I have managed to find my sense of humor again. That counts a lot ... Hurray!

I am so thankful I had the gutter work done last week before this storm hit. Yes, my deck leaked ... Sad .... I didn't get a thick enough seal coat down because I lost the light ... , but I don't have a flooded back yard Hurray! Hurray!

All is good Big Grin So far, we have gotten over 6" of rain in the last few days.

Oh, I wish I could take a photo of my white fir tree. It's just too tall to get in one photo. I've kept that tree alive all through the drought by keeping a drip on it all through every summer with a slow drip with a hose. Of course, there is no way I can give the tree as much water as it truly needs, but it has some water.

With this storm, the tree has virtually doubled, or more, in size as the branches have raised up and now it is not only standing tall, it is raising it's arms to heaven shouting with joy that the rains have arrived.

Oh, btw, I am still eating bear ... Big Grin

Isn't Winnie the Pooh a BEAR ? Is Winnie the Pooh related to the BEAR that messed with my trash ? Glare

I've had my reality check. I am determined to keep on keeping on with thankfulness and gratitude rather than being a grumpy ol' grouch because I am tired and weary and the crises keep on rolling in to mess up my productivity.

I'll just eat my bear one bite at a time ... smothered with gratitude. Thank you very much. nodding

I am very thankful I have not have had to haul wood over to the house in the rain this weekend for heat. I have a new furnace that works just fine ... Hurray!

Winnie the Pooh is a bear, yes. Named after my home town Winnipeg, for a little boy named Christopher Robin in the UK. His father wrote the book based on a bear he saw in the Winnipeg Zoo. He used to be in the Forces and was stationed in Winnipeg - I think during the First WW. When Christopher Robin wanted a story, his father wrote Winnie The Pooh.
There is now a statue in the Winnipeg Zoo, of a bear cub called Winnie The Pooh

I'm grateful for my situation. Back in May, before I knew we were going to move to where we are now, I prayed for a friend in my own city (yes, I have loads of elderly friends not my age, and friends all over the world, but none to chum with), and now - I have one! Pat is my neighbour in this Park, who moved from the old Park, so we have loads in common, and we spend Time together. She's coming to pick me up this morning to go for Coffee & Muffins at her church. We are now each other's "plus one" and have coffee, dinners, and shopping time together. We went to their place for Thanksgiving dinner (we brought the dinner, they provided the place Hilarious! )
The Lord knew we needed this and gave it to both of us.
Not only that, but our neighbours are the "old fashioned" kind who Do go to each other's homes just to have coffee and chat. Remember when people used to just call and say "coffee's on, come over" These neighbours of ours Do that......... I'm in my element, and I Love it.
Thank you, Lord, for giving me this Lovey dubby Angel

Lyn,
A bear in the trash scares the bejeebers out of me. How can you trust them to not just bash in a door or window if they smell food? Apparently they don't lol, but I see how they can rip off a car door.
Your tree sounds magnificent!

Susan,
You'll fill that shed before you know it!

I'm thankful to have a quiet day today.
