It's true, getting older means we have more people we know pass away. I used to think it was morbid to watch for obits in the paper. Now I know it's a fact of life for some

I always dread opening this thread to some sad news. This one made me smile ...big time!

My DH thinks my garden shoes will be the death of me. I always hold on to them a bit too long.

There was a war between me and a shovel..I tried to dig a hole and the entire sole cracked..those Danskos are tough cookies...until they are not. The top held up.

Rosie so sorry for your loss but looks like the old guys had long and happy gardening life.

I feel very sad for the people of Fort McMurray that have been displaced, and have lost their homes to that terrible wildfire in Alberta. As of yesterday 80, 000 people were displaced, 1,600 homes and buildings have been destroyed, and it is still burning out of control
