Now I want everything I see.
Raspberry colors......hmmmmmmmmmm......don't have any of those. YET !

It is hard to decide to put these two here, or on the red thread... but they really are raspberry to me.

Of the raspberry colors, my favorite is Joan Derifield. This photo is a little vibrant, but JD is a winner.



Next would have to be Fabulous Frieda

LOVE Fabulous Frieda -- I have her too, and unfortunately she's not as pretty here as the petals were thinner and a little more washed out for me. But this was just the first year, so we'll see what she does next spring/summer.

Frieda seems to really like it here. Where I have it planted, it gets morning shade, which helps the color and taking photos.

As I was going through a photo folder, I happened to see this photo -- unfortunately, I don't grow this one anymore. When I was cutting back, one of my customers talked me into parting with it... I really miss some of those daylilies I used to grow!

It really is a lovely rose/pink with clear colors. Dottie does some really nice things!

Many of Jamie Gossard's have Warrell's in their background. I know he used HOLLY DANCER a lot, as well as FROZEN MERT. I grew Frozen Mert for years and years as "Dottie's White Breeder" then she finally named it.

Oh that ' Fabulous Frieda' just jumped onto my want list!

I bought Turkey Trot a couple of years ago and it succumbed to crown rot. I need to try and get that one again.

Oh, no, Cindy! I think in all my years of growing, I have only had a couple plants rot. I think I was watering new transplants to much going into summer. Never had a fall planted one rot.

Actually I planted it in the spring. Daily Daylilies in Ohio carries a lot of Warrell's and I had ordered Turkey Trot, Divine Design, Pink Cricket and Frozen Mert. I lost Turkey Trot and Frozen Mert both that spring. I don't water a lot but I think that was one of our wettest springs and that was out of my control.

That is when I have had problems - planting in spring. I agree on wet weather, can't do anything about that! That is a shame. I have grown all 4 of the ones you ordered. If I still grew them, I'd send you some!

They did send me one of Dottie's new intros as a bonus, Touch of Orchid, but it hasn't bloomed for me yet.

I forgot that I also got Fireworks Display. It bloomed last year and I really liked it. This year it decided not to bloom for whatever reason.

Daylily I just ordered Joan Derifield from BlueRidge and Fabulous Freda always catches my eye so may have to get it too. Great Pic. of both by the way.

I really love BILL WATSON TOO. I've noticed it before -- might just have to get that one!

Bill Watson was such a nice person, and good friend. I miss him. It is great that the Shooter's named a couple plants for him.
