Anyone experience the pinks sometimes taking on a more "peach" hue when the weather is odd ?

My experience when I started purchasing pinks was that none of them were really pink, were in fact much more peach than pink, and I've had to do some searching to get some that seem truly pink. And the same with irises!

This is the first one I found that I felt was really a true pink:

Is it consistently pink regardless of weather ? Seems to me that the heat and intense sunlight in Bakersfield would make them fade out really fast, especially in the summer...or are yours in partial shade ? Even where I am, I found that moving them to partial sun made them hold their color much better when it's hot.

The one above is consistently pink and is in sunlight until about 3:00 in the afternoon. This was its first year for me, so I'll have to see how it does next year. The darker the daylily, the more afternoon shade I try to give. Also, this one bloomed in late June and has not rebloomed. But it was around 100 degrees when it was blooming.

The color is fairly true to what was in the garden, photos were taken in the morning, they had paled some by late afternoon.
