Here are some of my calcareums. The colors on them are looking a bit faded the last week or so from the temperature going up and a touch too much afternoon sun. Just had a mealy bug attack on the largest rosette as well Thumbs down

Bev,

Deal! Daylilies are starting to bloom and should peak in a couple weeks.

The calcareum are looking amazing in September, well most of them are. Mine are in full sun and have fared well with the exception of 'Fire Dragon'. It is almost dead, it never recovered from the winter rains. Some have dead leaf debris, but are healthy and growing.
'Pink Pearl' was late in making offsets this year. The first ones grew really fast, and now she is producing a second an larger crop. This year she has come though both the long, cold and rainy season with no damage, and now the very long, hot drought of this summer looking great. I love this calcareum

My sempervivum Calcareum was in full sun. It's getting huge. I got it from a local nursery and it didn't have any other name on it. Do any of you know it?

I don't have a clue Karen. It almost looks like a tectorum? Maybe Kevin can tell us how to tell a tectorum from a calcareum?

I love your 'Pink Pearl', Lynn. Mine is tiny in comparison but it has established and is growing.

Tim, most of my calcareum colonies had fried leaves. I was surprised at how great 'Pink Pearl' did this year. I'll try to take some other calcareum photos in the morning before I go to work.
