I like when it has more of the red on the falls, better than the yellow and tan. Without broken color it looks like Iwan'a Iguana.

Sorry. Haven't been able to get out much to get picrures. It's been raining non stop and now it's cold again. I'm starting to get really worried. I'm being to see alot of rot. This major flucuation of weather is seriously kicking bacterial rot into full throttle. I spent over an hour yesterday trying to save as many as I could before the rains started again. Just ending up dumping commet on a few I couldn't get to. Weather forecast for the week looks like bad news also rain in the forecast everyday

So sorry to hear that Jen!! We just had a full week straight of rain here in MA and it definitely took it's toll on my irises. I also had to do a bunch of surgery in the last few days. This weather is the worst.

My first seedling to bloom this year. It's form is nothing special but I really wish I could have caught this color correctly in the pictures. I do love the color and the irridecent sheen the falls and standards have. But unfortualty by day 2 the color faded horribly. Parentage was great Gatsby and Ringo.

Thanks Liz, I. At a point do t even know what to do anymore because it seems like a lot is not working. Pretty sure I know how Aryln feels now. I just haven't been hit as hard yet. Keeping fingers crossed.

We got the same weather forecast here, Jen. Rain on and off for a week. I did the same thing last week right before a rain, dumped comet on every rhizome in a bed that is giving me grief. It seemed to work for a bit as I only had 1 more loss yesterday, But it poured starting yesterday afternoon and rained most of the night. The raised beds in our back yard will be flooded again so I will have to wait for low tide to see how they did.

Low tide.... I love gardening, but I hate shoes that squish when you walk due to walking thru 6 inches of standing water.. Sorry we in Missouri send so much rain your way..

Holy crap do I have some catching up to do, Sorry I have been MIA. I was having some health issues and had to get some medicines straightened out because it was making me sick and looking at the computer was making it worse. But I'm much better now and here I go trying to finish out what I was able to get pictures of this year.
