Don't let it near Lindsey's house. Her plants seem to be infected with some sort of jumping disease.

you guys might have laughed when I spent BIG bucks to have 'life lines ' installed on my benches...

Thumb of 2016-05-31/sugarcane/01d5ef

but it's really helped in keeping the plants from jumping into the compost pile!

Kamikaze orchids, huh? Or homicidal squirrels? Big Grin

I see you have your orchids quite close together...do you not worry about them touching eachother? When I set mine on the 'dock' I have out in the yard I always make sure no leaves from one plant touch any from another. Come to think of it, I'm not sure WHY I do that...or where I got the idea from..... Shrug!

Air circulation between the plants is always a good thing. Supposed to prevent fungal infections, but . . mine get sick when they're all alone hanging in mid-air too.

If my Orchids couldn't touch each other, I would at least have to triple my greenhouse/cage in size! Rolling on the floor laughing

I don't let my orchids touch either, Patty. I'm not sure where I got the idea from, or why I started doing it, but I always space them out and rotate them in a way that they aren't touching each other.

Maybe we're crazy--maybe we're starting a new trend. Hilarious!

I imagine in nature some dangle freely from trees and other varieties snuggle up in the jungle.

If you want to see how close they grow in nature, have a look at my Ecuador thread if you like. They are not nicely separated.

It has been over a month and the color on Burgundian 'Too Sweet' is fading but the flowers still have some substance. Den. 'Green Fantasy' is peeking into the picture.
