Fusion looks great. I wonder if it will do well here? I bought one to give it a try.
I started a few OT lilies inside this year to Give me a chance at earlier pollinating. Table Dance is blooming now.

With the onset of lily season I have experienced my first pollen stains on a shirt. I became complacent about walking freely through my gardens without having to pay attention to all those anthers sticking out everywhere. So it will be like this for the rest of the summer; I have to watch out and be careful or I will be spending way too much time trying to remove these stains.

For those that are new here or have forgotten the techniques, here is my short article on removing lily stains:

Connie, could a Lint roller, or dog hair roller be used as well? I can always find those in my house

I haven't tried either of those, Dave. I do want to make sure that I use a "clean" area of sticky surface with each daub. Not sure you would get that using a lint roller.

I had just read about removing pollen stains and can home from work this morning and got some on my white uniform top. Tried my adhesive tape remover, being very careful not to reuse an area after it had picked up some pollen. Worked well. Still a very faint stain, but almost all gone.

Lots of new ones today!

Nice, Susan. Does Momentous multiply there like it does here?

'Table Dance' started inside early then moved outside to finish blooming.

This is my first year to grow Momentous and it was a small bulb, so will take a couple years before I know how it multiplies.

Table Dance looks like a really bright pink.

Table Dance hasn't done well for me for the past two years. Of the two stems that managed to grow one stem only has one bud, and the other stem has been stubby and short consistently with no buds.

To be honest, most of the pink OTs perform poorly here for me. In my experience they succumb to virus easily. The large flowers and petal substance are good in this OT. I purchased it to see if I can breed some strength back into it. We will see if it takes.

Gale's Favorite reminds me a lot of Sheri Katherine, but compared side to side they are different. Hard to say which I like the best.

I divided both of my clumps of Forever Susan and sold a lot of them last fall, but there seems to be as many as ever. May be one of my fastest multipliers. Latvia is the only one I can think of that beats it.

Anyone have an idea what would cause a whole stem and leaves to turn yellow?

Most likely cause is basil plate rot. The bulb will shoot up a stem but when the reserves are depleted, the bulb collapses resulting is rapid yellowing and death. When this happens to a Spring planted bulb, it usually is because there was mishandling of the bulb during the chill/freezer process. An example of non intentional mishandling would be a prolonged power outage in the middle of the chill cycle at the processor. Another would be the bulbs were not washed completely clean and put in the preconditioner while still damp with a dirty basil plate (with pathogens) before being introduced to the freezer. If it happens to a well established plant in the garden, it is usually caused by a prolonged exposure to excess water over winter or during early Spring with repeated thaw-freeze-thaw-freeze cycles.

Thanks Lorn. I'll need to check which ones they are on. If they were planted this year or last. I think it was plants from last year as the clumping look. I saw it quick today then some inckement weather came
