ScotTi said: I was going to post the photo to the data base, but I submitted a name change for the photos under 'Punctatum' should be 'Picturatum'
'Punctatum' is a narrow green and yellow leaf Croton.

Here is 'Punctatum Aureum'

Alice that is amazing! I do love that plant glad you posted an update photo of it. You reminded me I have one of those little Angel plants I bought about a year ago at Lowe's, so I just checked on it, doing well, at least three times the size now. Some older Crotons I just took pics of

Fantasy, also known as AFD # 5 (New growth kind of boring right now) Also will sunburn easy and doesn't like the cold.

Freckles - This can take some good sun

Zanzibar (This has a Coleus in the pot too, had to move it out of the way to see plant) I've had mine for two years, been through two winters, I just toss a frost blanket over it if we dip below 35, it did fine, but we only had a few nights that cold past two years. Gets some good sun in late afternoon, shaded rest of the day.

Piecrust (small plant I bought this past March, still little rooting but getting new growth now)

Victoria Gold Bell Kind of boring now, but second photos you can see old growth with colors, this another pretty fall/winter plant

Do you see any pink blush coloring on the back of the older leaves on the Sloppy Painter?

I guess so, this is the underside of older leaves, the new ones are just yellow and green. I've always kind of wondered about this being 'Sloppy Painter' because of the yellow mid rib. Most of the photos of Sloppy Painter aka Eleanor Roosevelt just have the spots, no mid rib yellow line.

Sherri, The yellow mid rib is what threw me. I will check with a Croton expert friend on his take.

Sorry to bump this up but Im still wondering if anyone knows what the croton in the foreground is? A very fast grower, full sun no problem, 87- 91%F, 80% humidity.

I don't know what croton that is but this website at Palmpedia has lots of photos, you can look up by leaf shape, since that one has an oak shape. Good luck there is an awful lot of crotons out there.

My thoughts lean to 'Van Buren'. Let the new growth age to confirm final coloration as they will change.
