I think if a person is generous enough to give an acorn or part of one, the receiver should be courteous and reply with a thank you, in my opinion. Whistling

They may not have figured it out yet. They are good friends and may not have even been online in a while.

This is probably the case.

Acorns are, I think, a pretty innovative concept that a lot of people would need some getting used to before they really "Get it"

I think ya'll are right, Dave and Jeri. I think it helps to send a note with the acorn. When I've sent them I go back to the "view this" whatever it said and enter a note saying why I've sent it. It is fun to open a rapport/conversation with the recipient.

I wonder if there was a place to enter a comment when sending an acorn before hitting "send" would be helpful. It would be like putting a greeting card on the present rather than sending it blindly, eh?

I agree Shoe. It would make it more streamlined & easier to deal with. Plus there are a # of people who aren't crazy about getting a lot of mail in their personal email & the way it stands now they get 2 emails rather than 1.

Ann I think he meant just add a personal note in the Acorn Adm. message. I think that would maybe help but once everyone learns what acorns are then I don't think it will be a problem.

I think being able to send a note along with the acorn is a good idea Shoe, I wonder if Dave can do that? Shrug!

I've updated the "Send an acorns" script to let you know how it works and how to add an extra message.
