Group hug For both of you. We are all very different, and that is what makes life so interesting, and yes, some times difficult. We must never become upset about things we can not control or change. Everything has it season.

Ok now I have a confession to make, I too became concerned when I read some of the posts on Gramps.

I even went so far as to look up the place where he lived and figured out how to get there from here.

Last fall I took a trip and was actually in the small town in western Colorado where he lives, believe me it is the back of the beyond.

Then I lost my nerve and I failed to go to the library, police station or whatever to try to locate him. I have felt soooooo bad,

Perhaps I will make another trip but I find I cannot comfortably drive long distances anymore.
What do we say about lost opportunities and letting self-consciousness get in the way. Shrug! Shrug!

Wow Marilyn! Thats amazing! I think it says something about Gramps that so many of us have been touched by his posts or his energy, and that we were kindof thinking along similar lines (when I read some of this posts and seriously thought about a trip to CO - its just funny, not at all feasable yet I had considered it!) All of this is to say, I think he's someone who's made an impact on people and its amazing - whatever else happens or doesn't happen, its still amazing! Hurray!

Thanks, I was just so close, I keep kicking my self (mentally) for failing to follow through on a plan.

God has a plan, we just don't know what it is.
I just wish I could get to know him better, he is such an interesting person. He has done so much in his life time.
He may still be doing great things, but just very busy.

Yes true - we really don't know what's up I tip my hat to you. Marilyn, I can so relate, one never knows how much and the type of attention someone wants/needs, but I do like what Deb said on a different thread "its only awkward for a few moments and then common interests take over"
That sentiment rings so true for me!!
Cheers (there may be another opportunity - something that hasn't shown itself yet!) I can just see you and Lynn and several other local CO semp lovin folks going to his garden and taking photos and saving plants!! That would be exciting! Big Grin

If things work out that we get to go visit Marilyn in CO this spring, we might just have to make that little trip together. Smiling

I got extra camera batteries and larger memory cards for Christmas. Plant on taking lots of photos if things come together so we can make the trip.
I should know by the first of April if we will be coming. Smiling

Maybe yes, maybe no about the smile. Greg, I know and he also knows that is why he might be reaching out. Anyway if you do a Google search for him you will also get the sensation I get. He is alive and showing some movement on the net.
Na, it has warmed up and I am a bit to busy with things that have been pending through the winter Glare that is why I am missing a bit plus my laptop is still pouting. I am on a borrowed machine of my eight year old and she will be back any second from school Whistling .
Regards,
Arif.

Poor thing knows how to share, it was I with my ATP addiction who had forgotten that there were others also. I still miss my Dell laptop. Due to over voltage two IC's blew. Either send it back to Dell and get the reply replace motherboard at the price of an arm and a leg or do the next best thing. Now I am hunting for a Junk Dell i5, rip out the IC's and replace. The junk dealers are looking for one and I should have my laptop on line soon.
Greg, gives you any ideas Confused
Regards,
Arif.
