Beautiful deep color on Sunny Intervals. Last one.

This picture of Sunny Intervals was taken two nights ago. I didn't get to see it until it was almost dark, so I brought it inside for the photo. It's just great, because this bloom had been in the sun for several hours, and was still absolutely firm, no collapsing or melting out. The flash from the camera takes out quite a bit of the color.

Well, I do have some more buds left to bloom on a couple of cultivars, but only one plant blooming today. I try not to take photos everyday of the same plants, unless maybe it is the last bloom on that plant. But I thought if the weather should turn I might should show that 'Sunday Gloves' is still blooming.

It feels strange to have daylilies blooming in October. Felt even stranger today on a damp, chilly day. Up before sunrise and the temp was at 72F here. Then it dropped to the upper 50s. Jacket time for me Smiling . The green in the blooms was more intense than on warmer, sunnier days. Here are left to right:
'Liquid Memory'; a Wild Horses seedling; and, below them 'Whip City Dapper Dan'

First time I've posted multiple photos since the NGA update. I see I can't put three across anymore. Or at least not the way I used to do that. It occurs to me that what I've seen on my desktop doing that may not have been what others have seen on their monitors. Having side x side photos may not be the best way to present photos in a post. Does anyone know?

No rebloom here, apart from Stella de Oro, the blooming season is long for her this year.
Temperatures have already dramaically dropped with the first snow in the surrounding mountains that send us cold winds. Crying

Orange Spice--this daylily should win the last blooms prize. There are still a number of buds on two scapes. We are having a little cold snap, will have to wait and see if the buds are affected.

Nice images everyone, love seeing these late blooms! Still scapes and buds with a few blooms here. The buds are taking 2 days to open and the blooms look really awful after the second night of 40 degrees with heavy dew....

I'm wondering why I don't have any rebloomer here, Char. Temps are a bit higher than yours. 55 by day and 44 by night. Shrug!

I'm not sure Sabrina, the weather has been so unusual here this year. I don't normally have scapes this late in the season or even see much rebloom.

'Sunday Gloves' has finally bloomed out. Now the night time temps are down in the high fifties, but the few blooms that are left are mostly looking pretty dismal. They just don't like the cool temps. 'Lavender Stardust' has opened several blooms in the past few days, but they mostly looked like the one today: This is as good as it got all day.
Thumb of 2016-10-12/Seedfork/94bb11
I did have two blooms on 'Super Purple' today that actually still looked decent: Decent, but that is the most that can be said for the two blooms. So this will probably be the last of the rebloom photos for the season. Only a few buds left and the temps keep getting a little cooler, not good for the blooms but it does feel great!

The very last rebloom blossom on tet Malachite Prism is a puzzler. Is it a reversion?
Not only that, it bloomed for two days!

The fan from which it came might be a sport, Larry. I would throw a tag around it or separate it out and grow apart. Who knows what lurks there? But maybe some other cultivar has sneaked amongst the fans of Malachite Prism's?
