The colors are coming fast,Ill take more photos today. I got part of the bed dug up.lost over an hour chatting on the phone ...Doing puppy buisness...LOL..my brother and sil are taking 1 of my Sd puppies also ,they live in Denver,trying to work out how and when they will come for the puppy.They already have 2 of my cats siblings,they flew home 1st class under my brothers seat golly almost 10 years ago. Or we might drive out to Denver,we will see.Yes I will have 2 pups for a while that ought to keep me busy.

these are the oak barrel planters I maintain at an office we clean,there are 4 ,this year they look great

I plant flowers every year with my grandson he is 7,he remembers everything I teach him,amazing,maybe horticulture in his future.Was showing him seed pods,and where to look for them ,and told him how to know when they are ready to gather or sow. Alot of the flowers are volunteers.

That's what I loved about living in New England. Boy! did we have plenty of rocks!! Not so here with the clay soil.

Nice photos Janice,I worked on digging out all the plants . Now I need to pick up the chunks of yellow clay I dug out of the bed up against the foundation.I never did amend the soil properly in that bed. Now to figure out what Im gonna plant. Confused

Worked outside yesterday afternoon and it was great therapy..I took this picture while cleaning beds..My son and grandson came Sat and pulled some old things out that were getting way too big...
