Amen! but that game isn't for everybody. I really dislike the thought spiders, but try to appreciate them anyway

I don't much like spiders either. We haven't had very many this year. Either the mantis have them all eaten or the drought has taken its toll on them. Usually this time of summer I am dodging orb weaver webs but haven't seen a one.

We were just discussing something along those lines- how some years there's seasonal and local fluctuations year by year for all kinds of creatures. Seems the only certainty is uncertainty. Sticking tongue out

Help please anybody- technical question -or for either, Mellie ,jmorth, luvsGD, or goatdriver. Prefer to ask my best peeps right here who I can see already know the answer than drudge thru the site help boards which I've already done briefly. How on earth do I place photos right next to each other instead of in a vertical line??!! D'Oh!

18 second video of one rubbing its rear wings together. It's not explained in the video, but I'm pretty sure it's to confuse predators so anything that might attack will nip at the tail which is expendable, instead of the head, which sure isn't.

Cheryl after you upload the second shot put your cursor in front of it and hit backspace and it will move up to the first one. Hope I phrased that right...

Nice Mika.
@nativeplantlover - picture placement horizontally allows one more latitude for composition as so aptly demonstrated by Mika's above. (above the above)

Ah Jessie, it was clearly too easy! I had never heard of swoosh but looked it up! When the fish hatched and I saw its markings, I called it Nike - then realised that the logo was the other way around. So I reversed the name...
We obviously need trickier questions here!!! Hilarious!

I guessed right, but for the wrong reason. Ekin is also a Nike promotional group, or some such thing... They are not publicized, so you could say they're an "underground" group. Now I see the logo is backwards. Very fun name! And a beautiful fish.

Speaking of brilliant Mika, yours are astoundingly brilliant made extra special by your creative placement and display. Good on you! That's also one very popular plant, is it Echinops?

Thanks, Robin. Yes, echinops ritro - the bees do seem to love it. I think that if they have a choice, they prefer flowers that are blue or purple. Do other people find that?
