After Awhile Crocodile with Genesta in the background. These are getting divided and moved to the front next spring.

Genesta - the other clump. Counted twenty one blooms on this one. You can see the other clump in the background. It will be interesting to see the bud count on some of these scapes in a couple months.

I'm sad! What I think is my very last bloom came this morning, but we have a torrential downpour, so I can't go out and look at it!

Mike, I love your late blooms, especially the white/cream ones. Here are some I just photographed.
AUTUMN WOOD-I love this one for being late and every bloom seems to have a different look. This one has the pink.


BOUNDLESS BEAUTY--I have posted this one before but this is the best bloom so far. one more bud to go.


DARLA ANITA--This is a "better than most" bloom but it does grow here and does OK for an evergreen. Lots more buds TO OPEN


NORTH WIND DANCER--


PUMPKIN PIE SPICE--rebloom scape


SUMMER WINE--this plant did not produce many blooms this year


SOLDIER OF LOVE--at least a dozen buds left to open--a heavy bloomer

There are others blooming but nearing their end. EFW and Chicago Apache still have several buds to open.

Here are two photos of Little Lisa taken at my daughter's garden. This daylily has been blooming pretty much all summer here. These blooms on are rebloom scapes.

Yes, but you need to remember my season starts later so I have to wait longer to see my first blooms--into July.

Wow, Mary! Those are some of the most gorgeous pics of Autumn Wood and Northwind Dancer that I have seen. They are just stunning. Wish mine would bloom with coloration like yours!

My EE daylilies, such as Penny's Worth and Mini Stella start around the end of June, beginning of July. The photos I took of these cultivars were taken on July 2nd. So, I guess our season starts a couple of weeks earlier than yours and ends a few weeks earlier. I still have a few daylilies still with buds left to come. They are When My Sweetheart Returns, Dragons Eye and Techny Peace.

I still have rebloom scapes appearing. As long as the weather stays warm I can look forward to another month of blooms.

I just got back last night from a several day trip to the East Coast. While I was gone:

'Coming Up Roses', my maybe-seedling of 'Sacrament of Healing', and 'Twist Again' finished their rebloom.

'Beautiful Edgings' and 'Tuscawilla Tranquility' are still reblooming.

'Newberry White Dove' and 'Nancy Billingslea' started their rebloom.

'Gadsden Icicle' still has one last bud to go, its LFOE for this garden. (It had a very long bloom season given that it is not (I think) a bud builder, and it does not rebloom. It started June 4th, and will finish sometime in early September.)

I am surprised and excited - such riches! The daylily season isn't over yet!

How was your trip in our neck of the woods? Did you get to do any site seeing?

Well, it wasn't in bloom every day, the scapes were really tall for the size of the bloom, and I guess I just got tired of it.

The clump is going as soon as I can dig it up (but I just wracked up my knee again :/ ). I'm somewhat hesitant to offer pieces of it, because rust. I have never seen rust on it, but we do have rust in the garden at this time.
