Larry that is indeed stunning. Mary Ann it's strange that your Laura Harwood bloomed like that, mine did the same. Most disappointing. Char I love The Dream Society.

The daylilies have been strange this year, blooming at odd times or not blooming at all. Last year Desert Icicle bloomed it's head off and this year not one scape. Lake Norman Spider is re-blooming for the first time and Dominic is putting up a second set of scapes from the same fans while the first scapes are still blooming.

Open yesterday FFO on Crystal Blue Persuasion. Thought it wasn't going to bloom this year.

Can anyone help me with the name of this one? scape height is 27 inches, bloom size is 5 1/2, and it's very fragrant. It has about 12 more buds on it and is a 1 year old plant.

Nice images Raven, Moses Fire looks really good and Larry, Emerald Tucanet is pretty! Thumbs up
Hilary, I'm finding weird stuff with the daylilies this year as well. A bunch of seedlings and registered daylilies are sending up rebloom scapes, I rarely get rebloom. After not blooming at all this year, I found a scape today on Carnal Emporium. Shrug! Strange.
Sorry Daniel, I'm not having much luck figuring out your NOID tonight.

Diamond Diva, on a rebloom scape and looking a little bit washed out because of the overcast sky two days ago. This one was fabulous this summer!

Hiding Place also on a rebloom scape and with overcast sky.

and I have a few images I found in another folder from earlier in the season...I could have just add them to the database, but figured why not.. I'll add them here.

Tristan Jones, ok, this image has a date of 7/26. I LOVE the color of this daylily. Difficult color to photograph, a translucent quality which makes it shift from orchid-pink to lavender-blue. Really unique.

Twilight Adagio, image date of 7/25, a polychrome with yellow knobby edge.

Unpredictable You, image dated 7/28, a polychrome pleated Sculpted form. No two blooms are ever the same, predictably unpredictable.

Hilarious! Hilarious! Thanks Barbalee, I just hate having NOID's in the garden especially when hybridizing. It's the latest daylily I have unless it just got old enough to send up a scape. I guess next year I'll be able to tell better when it's flowering time is. It's very tall compared to many of my others and like I said the smell is amazing.

It is an unusual Daylily growing season around here as well. Lots of rebloom, increase, proliferation, and some starting first bloom at all different times like August. So little rain but timely.
Blooming today..
