Luscious, Sharlene!

There's a pretty big holiday coming up on September 5th: Labor Day. I can't find any roses with work, labor, guild, or union (in the sense of a labor union) in their names. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks Zuzu.

What about 'Fellowship' (aka Livin' Easy) or 'American Spirit' (aka Medal of Honor).

May 1st is the day we celebrate Workers Day or as some call it May Day. It used to be a public holiday in our part of Switzerland but not anymore - suppose the unions are not what they used to be Smiling

Closest I could think of is Rise N Shine for the people who get up early to head to the factories and other places.

I think Easy Does It would be a good choice for Labor Day. Sighing!

Here are my bouquet roses cuttings, they are doing fabulous! Each picture is a different "bush"
I actually had a white flower already, I cut it off a month ago and gave it to my grandmother sorry neglected to get a picture beforehand, sorry..

But anyways, from these bushes, I have 8 flowers, or buddings.

One is a white for sure and one is a red for sure.
Also, here is my worm casting I use as foliar and watering
Kind of strange looking, that the flower petals start from normal leaves? Odd

Last day of the month and I finally take out my camera for some shots this evening as there is quite a bit of color in the garden. I've have just been so busy this summer with working and sewing and getting sick too, a virus with a week of pink eye. I have been enjoying every ones posts and photos!

Low light so I got some blur.

Sharlene, I love William Shakespeare and Tea Clipper together!

Brenden, those plants look great! Thumbs up

Thanks Neal - I caught Tea Clipper just at the right time - sadly it fades a bit and then the effect is not as stunning.

Suzanne, great pics. I have read that Aloha only has occasional rebloom. What is your experience? And on how do you find the scent?

I get light rebloom every year and it's a light fragrance. It's so gorgeous that I can't help take lots of photos. Zuzu and I have filled the database entry! nodding

Latest rose blooming here is Maggie. Smells soooo good!!! Don't have to fully bury your nose in it to smell it. This is another one I got from A Reverence for Roses.

I edited your post, Amanda, because the missing start bracket was keeping the photo from being displayed.

When you post a picture, the command begins with [lightbox.... and ends with ...lightbox]. Amanda's command began with lightbox, without the start bracket.

The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
