There's a pretty big holiday coming up on September 5th: Labor Day. I can't find any roses with work, labor, guild, or union (in the sense of a labor union) in their names. Does anyone have any ideas?

May 1st is the day we celebrate Workers Day or as some call it May Day. It used to be a public holiday in our part of Switzerland but not anymore - suppose the unions are not what they used to be

Closest I could think of is Rise N Shine for the people who get up early to head to the factories and other places.

Here are my bouquet roses cuttings, they are doing fabulous! Each picture is a different "bush"
I actually had a white flower already, I cut it off a month ago and gave it to my grandmother sorry neglected to get a picture beforehand, sorry..

But anyways, from these bushes, I have 8 flowers, or buddings.

One is a white for sure and one is a red for sure.
Also, here is my worm casting I use as foliar and watering

Last day of the month and I finally take out my camera for some shots this evening as there is quite a bit of color in the garden. I've have just been so busy this summer with working and sewing and getting sick too, a virus with a week of pink eye. I have been enjoying every ones posts and photos!

Thanks Neal - I caught Tea Clipper just at the right time - sadly it fades a bit and then the effect is not as stunning.

Suzanne, great pics. I have read that Aloha only has occasional rebloom. What is your experience? And on how do you find the scent?

I get light rebloom every year and it's a light fragrance. It's so gorgeous that I can't help take lots of photos. Zuzu and I have filled the database entry!

Latest rose blooming here is Maggie. Smells soooo good!!! Don't have to fully bury your nose in it to smell it. This is another one I got from A Reverence for Roses.
