I meant to post this earlier especially for Nap.
My JM is finally turning. Last week it was so burgundy it looked black, but then it always turns bright red.
Not much other color around, though. It might not have been cold enough yet.

Beautiful! I especially love that Japanese Maple. Lovey dubby I've always wished they would grow in Florida but as of yet I haven't heard of one that will do well down here. My sister in NW Georgia had a gorgeous lacy leaf one at her old house.

Me too. Everyone is taking such pretty fall photos! I saw a Charley's dog too. C'mon Charleen, send us a photo of Charley's dog.
Humpfh, I'll have to wait till Dec. or Jan. to get fall pictures here.

Luv all the Fall shots. Nice containers with the trees too. Two JM have died in the ground here so I'm going with a container next time. Blinking

I've photographed this Dinnerplate Dahlia so many times this year that I'm sure everyone is sick and tired of it. But every time I think it has finished its really big display, an even more spectacular bloom comes along. Took this shot this morning and it is about the size of my two hands together. So much for saying I'll never buy any Dahlia tubers at Walmart! Glare

Ann: You are way NW of me and you don't have any autumn colors up there yet? We have a little down here on the east coast. I'm in Daytona Beach and there's not a lot of color, nothing like I see when visiting the mountains but I'll take any little bit of color I can get. Big Grin We are having awesome weather with low humidity but oh, how I'd love to be in the mountains right now. Lovey dubby

No Lynn. I haven't seen any color yet. I keep looking. Not unless you count the trees that are blooming. Hilarious! That's the only color so far. I'm surprised too. There some trees I'm sure are river birches here in the neighborhood & I thought they were supposed to turn yellow but they're all as green as can be.????????
