Trish said:Rick- even while building, there is always a "put that on the version 2.0 list" conversation going on.

Scope creep is a very real thing.

Totally!

Just today we reviewed "Rev B" of a requirements document, and I did the obligatory check to see that ALL "Rev B tasks" had been completed.

Which emoji would I use for bug-eyed, sputtering incredulity? Drooling Confused Blinking

Something like two dozen tasks came up. Even that was not the entire list of "deferred" tasks. It was only the ones that had been deferred, but not every field had been updated to show "really truly deferred".

I can honestly say after more than 30 years in IT, there wasn't a single project I worked on that didn't creep. And usually it happened just as the project was ready to roll out!

Trish -- Breathe, breathe. Deep breaths, and go easy. No one is in any hurry. The schedule is yours. Best to get it as right as it can be with the rollout, and then tweek it. Changes will bring about some grumbling (and as a mainline Protestant pastor who strives to stay current, I'm always dealing with them), but when thoughtful consideration and sufficient effort is made to affect the change, it does become welcome...for the most part. As John Lydgate put it years ago, “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.” Blessings on your work.

LOL, I think it's safe to say that most people are just fine with the way things are now....

but the rest of us know that whatever changes are coming will be for the better Smiling

There is waaaaayyyy too much white space. Narrow writing boxes surrounded by white, white and more white. Please make the boxes (or whatever you call this space I am currently writing in) larger!!

It was not easy to find the site talk forum btw.
