Funny Thread! I vote for Carol Adele, my mother's name. Although she hated her middle name.

Thanks Tom, Carol is what my grandmother suggested also. It's on our list too but now the list has about 30 names. Has anyone else had this much trouble picking a name?

Daniel I am a postpartum nurse and a few parents don't have a name until they see the baby. It makes the birth certificate employees nervous, they start circling the wagons, whispering to me have they come up with a name yet? They will interrupt lunch, napping, and breast feeding to get that paperwork done. The patient, not me.

Yes, our baby girl did not have a full name until she was 6 months old, I just called her BG...baby girl. She now has a proper name.

Wow RJ 6 months, I hope it don't take us that long. What name did you finally come up with?

I have ten daughters. If there were two names I couldn't choose between I just used both.

Hey... everyone gets it wrong once in awhile. Just make sure you never ask a woman if she is pregnant unless you know for sure she is before you ask it. 😉😉😊🌺

True. I remember the moment when a friend of mine once asked....

"So when is your baby due?"

I responded pulling my tummy in as tight as I could and informed her...

"I had my baby 4 days ago. This is what's left... and I can't tuck it in."


Then there was that moment when I was 4 months pregnant with twins...

An associate declared as I passed by.

"Wow! Looks like your gonna have that baby ANY DAY NOW!"

I turned and softly said "I have 5 more months to go..."

He looked stunned. I didn't explain there was 2 babies inside. You never "WOW" at the size of a pregnant woman's tummy. Just don't.
