She went to the doctor Thursday and the doctor said they are going to give it one more week so no baby yet but she is in pain and feeling a lot of pressure so it may not even be a week.

@ Daniel @Phil - depended on how mad mama was... My Okie birth names total 3. Nicknames range from Kat to Katrina to Katrinka to all abbreviations of Kathryn and then the avatar was dubbed me by a chicano trying to pronounce Kathryn. I liked it, so do the short kitt and Ms Kitty as well. I have 3 given names not counting the 3 I divorced. Texas tho, where I am, we do give 4 names. Kinda like the South American catholics. I know of 4 other women who have my exact name to the letter, so perhaps a third personal name may help with id confusions later in life.

I felt the same each time. No child will ever know what a parent goes through for them until they too become a parent.

With my last pregnancy I had torn my Labrem hip cartilage so my hip became dislocated when I would walk. I carried the baby being unable to walk without crutches and in a lot of pain every day. We did not want to endanger the baby by having surgery during pregnancy to repair my hip. I have had all my children naturally at home and was very nervous about the pain of birthing a child with a dislocated hip.

I prayed for extra help, strength and quick safe delivery. The morning I woke up all the uneasiness left me and a beautiful calm feeling came over me. All was well. I knew God was with me. All my prayers were answered exactly as I had asked.

You are not alone and you have wonderful doctors and technology on your side. There is no moment more glorious than the moment your newborn child is placed in your arms.

I just wanted to touch base with everyone. My wife will be getting induced to have the baby tomorrow at 5pm. So it will either be tomorrow or Monday We also now have a name for the baby. Her name will be Kassandra Marie Jane Erdy. The K in Kassandra is for my wife's name Krystal instead of spelling it with a C. Marie after Krystal's sister, and Jane after my grandmother. My first son also has two middle names and we couldn't agree on a name for her so our first daughter and last child will also have two middle names and everyone will be happy. Krystal decided not to go with Adele as a middle name after months of pairing names with it but it's her choice and I'm just happy she's happy. Thank you everybody for all the suggestions and kind words. The National Gardening Association truly has the best group of not only gardeners but people anywhere.

So exciting! I hope everything goes well. No, on second thought, not just well, but perfectly.

Daniel I was getting so excited, I saw all the K names and then I saw baby and I came up with KABBY. But then alas and alack I slowed down my reading. Sniff.

Didn't even get induced she was supposed to Sunday at 5pm but Kassandra wasn't waiting .she is amazing words can't even describe how wonderful she is. I'm so happy everytime I look at her I tear up. She is 6lbs 10oz 20 1/2 inches long and was born at 11:29 pm est. I'm on my wife's phone while she's holding her but I'm about to get her so Krystal can get some sleep lol neither one of us want to put her down.

Aw Daniel, I'm so happy for you. This is great, you 've got your gardening friends here to watch her grow up. Now you need to change that avatar fella, it's time for that fig that can feed a family of 4 to go. Kassandra needs her moment!
