Y'all are absolutely amazing. Dave I had NO idea you had that many lilies. I'm going to have to make room for what I bought, but I'm like Ginny I will be giving some away to family and friends. I got away from myself with the dahlias, glads and caladiums, I'll be sending some to traders.
Not inclusive of the two orders from Santa Rosa, and 3 other nurseries that will be coming in in April. D'Oh!

Hyacinths and daffodils are emerging from their pots. It sure is fun watching something develop and grow at this time of year!

I saw that Ginny. I'm now pondering what I want as bonus lily that doesn't come from the Lily Nook. *sigh*

Snowdrops popping through, truly amazing considering how hard the ground is from frost.

My crocus bulbs are awake and going into blooming stage. These were gift bulbs to me last December, happy to see them show up now after all the rains we have been getting this winter:

I planted these Dichelostemma Ida-Maia bulbs in a pot and they are coming up. First time to grow these so I'm excited to see them in bloom.

These came up and bloomed at the beginning of February. Since we now have 18 inches of snow on the ground, I put a cloche over them and they are still going strong.

This is Galanthus Green Brush

Hi guys. I am sort of late to the party here but I so love tulips, daffies, crocus, and want to grow them but just don't have the touch. Some grow one year and may even bloom, but hardly any repeaters. I had a nice daffy mix that stopped blooming. When I dug up the row I found ninety gazillion bulbs jammed together. No wonder they stopped. I broke them all up and replanted the larger ones but still no flowers. I put bone meal in the holes (or in the one case in the ditches). Maybe I plant them too shallow?? Crocus are no problem. They bloom and multiply like crazy. When I dig up a bed I just rescatter them and then have even more the next year. I would love to have a really hardy tulip and at least one daffy. Suggestions??

Mary Stella, I've often found daffodils that I've divided due to overcrowding don't bloom well the year after, but they start showing off nicely thereafter. I think you should see blooms this spring. A lot of daffs are listed as hardy to zone 4, but some classes are hardy to zone 3, like trumpets and many large cup types. I think you may have better luck with the hardiest varieties. Most tulips are listed as hardy to zone 3, but a lot of modern hybrids are not so great about returning year after year. I have the best luck with species varieties, and Darwin hybrids are pretty good too. Deep planting seems to help too.
