We walked on the beach for 45 minutes this morning. Bare feet in the wet sand, water, and sometimes the dry sand. LOL

I saw the doctor today, my blood work results were all good. He gave me a sample of a new asthma med, 'Breo Ellipta' to see if the cramps will go away. I was really sick Wednesday night, vomiting and diarrhea, and on top of that I was up 5 times during the night with leg and foot cramps, omg what a night, no idea what caused it. I have been fine since then, except for a lot of sneezing and a runny nose but I don't feel like I a have a cold, maybe from the furnace running so much with this horrible cold spell we seem to be stuck in. Thumbs down

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that, Margaret. I hope you're feeling better and hope the new med will help the leg thing. You're not on a statin, are you? It sounds like you need to be walking the beach in Mexico with Anna.

Have a great time Anna, and enjoy that weather. We're all in the deep freeze with snow, freezing rain... nasty stuff.

Thanks Karen, I am feeling fine now, and no I am not on any statin. I started the new med this morning, I sure hope it stops the cramping.

Freezing rain arriving here tonight. Man, I hate freezing rain and ice. I hate snow, but it's better than freezing rain. Grumbling

Karen

I agree I hate ice and freezing rain.

We had snow and then freezing rain. I just came in from shoveling my porch steps and pathway down to the sidewalk. I didn't know how I would ever manage to get it cleared. Only a few inches of snow but a coating of slush underneath that wants to freeze.

The weather idiots had said a dusting and then rain would wash it away. They are so wrong. And I had to get the pathway cleared or it will just freeze up.

Tomorrow supposed to be warm, get to 50 so only worried about today and tonight.

I did the best I could but the snow wouldn't even come off the shovel when you tried to put it aside. I really struggled.

Oh well, it is as done as it is gonna get and I am back inside. It really isn't ridiculously cold. Only about freezing.

You should see how slowly I go and how carefully I place my feet since I slipped that time and fell. I was really bad and hurting. Should have gone to the emergency room but of course I didn't go.

Tomorrow it is supped to get to 50 so things should melt.

Yes Rita, you really should have gone to the emergency, especially since you didn't have the friends like you have now that could have come and helped you.

I was just so very thankful that I didn't break any bones. But man was I in bad pain, couldn't barely move. Well, it is done with just have to really be careful now.

I think you need to find a big strong young guy to whom you could donate summer tomatoes in exchange for his winter snow shoveling.

The guys that mow my lawn come shovel if I get a decent amount of snow. But if I have just a small amount like today, I do it myself. If it had been dry snow it would have been easy but that wet slush underneath made it very difficult. Thank goodness it is not usually like this.

Today should have been my gym day, but we didn't go on this frigid, dark, dreary day. I opted instead to stay home and walk on my treadmill- 1.3 miles in 30 minutes. That gets my total to 240 minutes for this week.

I'll be lazy and watch football this afternoon.
