I'll try to take it easy on you Bev! No hard questions.
Actually I'm doing a "back to basics" clinic this year where we get everyone on the same page. Lots of new people that haven't heard my original rules for judging semps. We'll go over good and bad examples of each trait so you can identify them in new cultivars.
Now just think about the brain of the poor instructor who's making lunch for 30+ people and giving the class! Can you say braindead?
Most of the new German cultivars have grown into clumps now too so they should be showing off too.
It will be in the book! Generally I don't have any flowers open in April though.
I want to add a part on evaluating both the heuffs and rollers too. With the heuffs you get almost no ugly seedlings and with the rollers you get few distinct ones.

Kevin
I'll burn a portion of my grey matter wondering how that "poor instructor" will make lunch for 30+ and give a great class year after year! Kevin, you always do a great job for the semp info-hungry mob and their stomachs...
Honestly,
I don't ?@#$&*%! know--Asa and I very much want to attend all as listed. Still planning on it in my wildest hopes and dreams and yet realistically can't know for sure the timetable of the only eventual outcome here...or even if I will have a job to worry about interfering either
I will let you know when I know, though, that's the best I can do for now, sorry
The problem we're facing is that we're at the limit or above at Robert's for dinner so we need to know if we need to move to the bigger facility or whether we can squeeze 30 into the shed. The other events aren't seat limited. So if you're 60% sure that you're coming please let us know so we can make plans accordingly. We might be able to do a spillover seating in another room as a plan B too.
I'm sorry but this will influence or choices for dinner and venue!
Was involved in planning iris and daylily conventions and it always seems as though dining is the most difficult part. We've suddenly become popular!
Kevin, I think we will be fine in the shed. At this point dinner at Robert's Crossing is filled. I am keeping one set open for a possible mystery guest. We are at 29 attending the dinner, with a possible mystery guest.
Dirt, I know about your situation, so please don't worry. You and Asa are covered.
I'm sure the time estimated for viewing the table garden is overestimated. I mean, it's just a table, right? Might take a half hour at the most.
As for lunch afterward, there is nothing between Albany and Garland's so it would have to be in Albany or past Garland's in Corvallis. I guess we can decide when the time comes. We could even do lunch after Garland's.
Lunch after Garlands would be great. Or maybe we all should carry lunch sacks? That would work for me. That way I can eat when I feel like I need to. Love that idea, what about the rest of you?
Connie, will you come to the dinner this year at Robert's? I sure hope so. Easy access to I-5 from there.
Julia, have you heard anything from Patty or Greg?
