My husband uses those heavy poly plastic like tarps for all kinds of things and they seem impervious to ripping and I think you can get them in heavy duty grades as well at home depot. I would also suggest lots of hands! Wow, good luck.

This came home with me from our local supermarket ..just labeled cactus and succulents...I think it is rat tail cactus...

As summer heat ensues, my rat tail cactus looks like it is sporting a red nose

I wonder if it is going to set a bloom?
