Just thinking that not only is the Tempo Two catalog beautiful( I call it Tempting Too!) but because the bloom season in Australia is the opposite of ours it comes out much earlier than any catalogs
in the U.S. - and when we're most vulnerable !
Last year Barry's shipment was sent in February (he also sends out in April),and we rarely get a hard freeze here - so they did very well in their 5gal. pots. I got blooms from them early. We'll be setting them out in their permanent beds in the next few weeks, if all goes according to plan. We have a month or two left of warm-ish weather.

He said last year he didn't ship to the US in April, everything was sent in February. I'm hoping he gets enough orders this year to do both months since April would be a lot better for me. I did buy a bunch of soil to have on hand so that I can pot them up when they arrive and keep them inside til the spring.

I wonder why all the medians are lumped together? I wish IBs, MTBs, and BBs were distinguished from one another.

I agree Neal, I had to look a bunch of them up to tell what class they were in.

I don't mind looking them up, I always do that anyway- its great to see multiple photos. Being that I'm in a phase of obsession with IBs, I'd love to zone in on those at a glance. MTBs are also tickling my fancy lately, and I only recognized 1 as MTB in the catalog (although some MTBs are hard to tell in close shots).

Neal - I don't think Blyth has produced many MTBs. He certainly has many lovely IB's and BB's though!

Barry was a pioneer in pink SBs. He seems not to be an interested in them as earlier years. One only has so much time. While Paul Black hybridizes wonderful TBs, the SDBs are in favorite class.

Aitkens catalog is now on line, but he carriers MTBs from several different hybridizer. Winterberry Iris also has MTBs in their catalog.
