How long does it take them to get to that height J? And do they hold up well to wind?

And that's pretty high to be taking a photo of little ole bees!

Heck, you must have some pretty great eyesight to even see the bees up there.

Gorgeous shots J ... especially that second close up!

Ann: I'm thinking the photo's were taken from an upstairs window or balcony/porch area.

I've seen huge sunflowers before and wish I had space to grow them! I've had a few Helianthus pop up from birdseed and they are always so cheery!

this one is a honey bee, i think? lots of them hanging around the oregano

Those are great shots Debra. The first ones look like Honey Bees to me too ... last one may be a Carpenter Bee; another good pollinator!

Yes, the 1st is a honey bee. The 1 on the sunflower ---- I don't think so. Just some other kind of bee.
