Good man, Greg. Heuffs rule!

Here's a couple of youngsters that I have high expectations for.

'Tan' and 'Pink Skies'
Thumb of 2018-04-09/tcstoehr/013600 Thumb of 2018-04-09/tcstoehr/6bb7d4

What else can I come up with? Let's see...

'Muskateer', 'Chocolate Sundae' and 'Mystique'

Yawn... so many greens with red tips. Glare

Here's 'Copper King' and 'Perfection'

And the ever resplendent 'Xanthoheuff'. This guy was a tiny offset I got from Lynn but its growth has been pretty good. Unlike 'Lemon Sky' Thumbs down it is getting larger... not smaller.

Looks good Tim - my Chocolate Sunday must be babies, since they are much smaller than yours, I was hoping they were full grown at the size they are, which is small Thumbs up

An interesting difference with the Heuffs is that they seem to take longer to mature into their real forms. I kinda like that cuz they keep changing and presenting new looks.

More green leaves with red tips... sigh. But they do look rather striking right now and I look forward to them getting larger. 'Wotan' and 'Millers Violet'

'Waterlily' is showing some pinkish tips. Those were not there last year.

Beautiful photo Tim. The green of 'Woton' is very intense and beautiful.

Tim, the heuffs you're showing are absolutely striking, I might not be able to control myself and will likely sneak off a second order of heuffs. Your Waterlily is showing good form and pleasing green tones, must remember to get enough green cultivars to balance the darker ones. Smiling

I think it's about time to redo my semp planter that has 'Gold Bug' in it. I was going to start the process today, first day that felt quasi spring-like, but clouds and wind kicked it and it got cold out there, might wait until later in the week. Will dig up 'Gold Bug' rosettes and pot individually, then replant once the planter makeover is done. Had lots of vole damage on semps this winter, notice several rosettes have been munched on, fortunately most were left unscathed.

Don't know if I've written this before...I know if I'm wondering if I've written something before, I probably have...But I used to NOT be that into heuffellii's and suddenly something shifted and I like them and have been adding to my collection! Hurray!
A couple more

Milady

I tip my hat to you.

Yeah... me too. I even occasionally think about having nothing but Heuffs. At least then I could really focus on a more manageable set. And I hope my 'Milady' ends up looking like yours. No hail damage... I'm jealous.

I agree, the rosettes on 'Milady' are so beautiful, pushing me to make a second MCG order specifically for more heuffs.

I saw 'Elmos Fire' for sale on SMG, so I just had to order that one and a couple others. I wonder if 'Red Charm' will really look like that.

All three look great, I like the deep pinkish-red of 'Elmos's Fire'; already had my sights on 'Zorongo' (in my wishlist).

Red Charm looks like a picotee, is it available from one of our listed Semp vendors?
[edit: I missed the fact this is available from SMG]
