Bev that is looking great. And I love the stones you used. I love the scale of all the parts.

Some sort of lava rock. It was part of an old container planting and when I took it apart, I decided to save the rocks. They all matched each other, perfect for another project.

Jesse, it's just one of the Sedum album. Not sure if it's a particular cultivar but I'll check to see.

Wow so colorful, Melissa...You should warn readers to wear sunglasses!
Thanks for sharing and showing that Noids are capable of being enjoyed without knowing whether they were an ex-known cultivar or a wayward seedling. I'd venture to say that some Noids kept in people's collection have sentimental stories attached to them which justify keeping them near.
Unfortunately the Noid introduced in the first post of this thread was lost a couple of years ago but thank goodness for photos and this thread, as I can reminisce about my Drive-By Semp Buy anytime I want.

I thought I would try and continue this thread this Fall with some pics of some Noids that I have been fussing with in my spare time when I'm not streaming on TV. Feel free to share your NOIDs too.

This was a mystery heuffelii that I my hubby chose from Lynn's garden the first time I met her and her wonderful garden in 2014 (yes, 7 years ago). Since then the original rosette had died, shrunk and then removed. I've never gotten more than one new rosette at a time. This is the newest one to have appeared and I thought the deep coloring was worth sharing with you all in this NoID thread.

Other people's gardens loaded with lots and lots of plants can be so jaw-dropping Blinking

Take for example this patch of one of Kevin's raised beds; it's got that certain look to it... Lovey dubby
Thumb of 2021-10-23/webesemps/b53bbf

and the above was just a small portion of one very long raised bed of "seedlings with potential" in Kevin's garden in May 2019
Thumb of 2021-10-22/webesemps/e657d5

I love the look of so many semp seedlings crammed against each other. I don't do seedlings but I have a bunch of Noids that I could plant really close together, zoom in with my camera and at least try to get that look for my viewing pleasure.

Close up of 'crammed look' in my garden::
Thumb of 2021-10-23/webesemps/956322

Step back and one can see that I sort of managed that look not with 10k seedlings but with a few Noids that grew inside of a 12 inch diameter ceramic pot. I know, not the same, but small potatoes better than no potatoes...

Remember when I potted up these Noids in late June and was just letting them sit after tweezing, watering and waiting to be packed off to a BBQ giveaway in a few weeks in July?
Thumb of 2021-06-27/webesemps/638ca1 Thumb of 2021-06-27/webesemps/786e10
Well, that trip got cancelled so I left them at home for more weeks till early Sept. They ended up losing most of what little coloring they had, but I donated all 24 pots to a nursery holding a Hardy Plant Sale. The nursery ended up offering them as gifts for Hardy Plant Society new memberships.

After the donation, this is the remaining flat of some potted Noids that are labeled: Melissa's Noids, Patty's Spacers, Cynda's Arachs, Lynn's Fuzz Gift, Semp Patch Noids, & Crested, Julia's Pinks, etc.
Flat is easy to carry off the deck to catch rainwater now...
