And tell people how you did it, found the glass, etc. Pretend we are clueless....(I SURE AM!) about glass paths. note: be sure to include a photo in the beinning post of your Glass Path thread that shows one of these photos...it gives our members eye candy.

It was on Cubits, but I took it down here because it really wasn't "gardening." I showed the Secret Garden I made with/for my grandson behind the pond.
As for the glass, I don't have photos of going to get it...at the dump... or spreading it...shovel here, shovel there...but I've had glass mulch on that pathway since 2006...long before it was "cool...." Our yard slopes quite a bit to that back corner, so I found the glass kind of stayed on top of the gravel I first used to keep the path from washing away...and it's pretty and sparkly....and now it's free!

Dave has encouraged me to write an article about Garden Art and I'd like to have yours to put in the article. If this was bark, I'd say it wasn't but to me this is a form of art.

My sister-in-law has some of that glass in a dish and then put a candle in the center. I was amazed at how smooth it was.

I like this better because of all the colors. Hers is only green..

I smell a road trip! I'll just get a Ryder truck, slap an "All things Plants" sign on the sides, and travel across the country dropping ground glass off along the way. Cooler states first...
We were just having lunch, and I was explaining to Mister why I needed to go back and get more glass for a "project." 'Hate it when he rolls his eyes...

Vic...most of ours is tumbled beer bottles, maybe some wine bottles and a few types of soda, I believe.

Ahhh a road trip to collect glass.

Now that my brain is fully engaged...can we make this glass at home, recycling the bottles we have? Is there a glass smoothing contraption?

Sharon, did you say you NEED glasses? I don't think I can help you with that.....

There are rock tumblers that work for glass also, but you'd have to have a huge one to get enough for anything substantial. And you'd need a truckload of sand to tumble it in. Best to just rent the truck and come here. Best idea is to insist your city start recycling glass!
